The PULSAR Pulley Accessory Kit is designed to aid the opening and closing of the dome shutter, and to minimise the risk of the shutter slipping and causing damage. Allows the shutter to be part opened to any position if required. Easy to fit, the kit comes complete with pulley wheel, nuts, bolts and washers, together with 4 metres of Nylon rope. It can be fitted whilst your dome is being installed or retro-fitted afterwards. The pulley fits to the flange at the top of your dome aperture, through the existing bolt hole, and the Nylon cord fits to the front and rear of the sliding shutter. Our new PULSAR Induction Charger is a fantastic upgrade to the Pulsar Shutter Drive. Our drive features an internal Lithium Ion battery which is normally charged by a solar charger mounted to the outside of the observatory dome. Our new Induction charger is not only more efficient, but is also mounted inside the dome on the rotation drive housing. The charging and battery details are readily accessible through the rotation drive control box so you can monitor the status of your shutter battery. This is a great addition to your observatory, and one we are very proud of !
Please contact us if you wish to upgrade an exsisting Pulsar drive system as some modification may be required to your drive.

PULSAR DOMES MULTI PIER ADAPTOR PLATE

The Pulsar multi pier adapter plate is a universal solution for mounting your equatorial mount on the PULSAR telescope pier (part.No.4900660). This adapter plate has different contours on the top and bottom which are suitable for most commercially available telescope mounts. Depending on the type of mount, it can be easily reversed and the pier is ready for use with another mount. You stay flexible and don't have to work with different adapters when upgrading or changing your telescope mount. The adapter plates we offer are made of solid aluminium material and use, among other openings, the standard hole circle diameter of 130mm with 6pcs through holes of 8.0mm and countersinks for M8 cylinder head screws with hexagon socket. The outer diameter of the adapter plate is 163mm and the overall height is 50mm. Explore the night sky with the Maksutov telescope
Featuring a long focal length of 1250 mm, this telescope is ideal for making exciting discoveries in the solar system and beyond. Take a close look at the gas clouds on Jupiter, or watch the rings of Saturn through the telescope for the first time with your own eyes. Thanks to the 90 mm aperture, the telescope collects about 165 times more light than the human eye. However, it's not just the planets that look stunning through the high-quality optics. It's also worth venturing further afield into space: marvel at the sight of the Orion Nebula, 1,344 light years from Earth, or the famous Ring Nebula M57 in the constellation Lyra. The two included eyepieces with 25 mm and 12.5 mm focal lengths will show you these objects and many others at 50 or 100 times magnification.
