The Analyth STR comes with 3 different magnifications, that can easily be switched by turning the objective. It is easy to change magnifications from 10x to 20x or 40x. The stereo microscope will show structured objects nicely in 3D, which is especially impressive. The low starting magnification of 10x is helpful when working with children and will show objects in full up to a size of 20mm. With the wide magnification range, the Analyth STR is a versatile instrument. You can use it to view insects, plants, minerals and much more. It is useful for hobbyists, in schools and more. Typical professional applications include quality control, gardening or farming (pest control), hydrobiology and much more.
The interpupilllary distance and the diopters can be adjusted to your needs. The eyepieces feature a big field of view of 20mm. They are equipped with rubber eyecups and have a locking screw to prevent loss or damage during transport.

The 10x eyepiece is suitable for all microscopes with 23.2mm eyepiece tube diameter. This diameter is widely used in stereo microscopes, also from other brands or manufacturers. Please select the eyepiece magnification in correspondence to the objective you are using. A low objective magnification allows for a higher magnification of the eyepiece. For example, combined with 4x or 10x objectives, eyepieces with 20x or 25x magnification can be used without loss of image quality. With a 100x objective, a 10x or 12.5x eyepiece is usually the highest recommended eyepiece magnification.
To calculate the maximum useful magnification, consider the numerical aperture (N. A.) of the objective lens:
numerical aperture of the objective lens x 1000 = max. useful magnification
Here is a typical example: for a 10x objective with numerical aperture NA 0.25, a maximum of 250x magnification can be realized. This is realized with a 25x eyepiece. The numerical aperture is usually printed besides the magnification factor on many objectives.
Magnifications beyond the max. useful magnification do not show any further details (so-called “empty magnification”) and are therefore not recommended.

The stereo design shows structured objects particularly vividly and three-dimensionally. The low,10x initial magnification is particularly suitable for working with children. Objects up to 20mm in size can be viewed in their entirety. The Analyth STR is therefore particularly flexible to use. The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that is operated with a c-mount camera (camera not included).
This allows direct viewing on a screen. Due to the vertically installed optics, there is no shifting of the image when focusing. This is especially useful for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x - 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus adjustment facilitates focusing, especially at high magnifications.
The convenient and user-friendly operation makes the digital microscope particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality control of surfaces or inspection of components and raw materials are easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants and rocks are also impressively displayed.
The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation. It can only be used in combination with a MikroCam c-mount microscope camera.
It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2". Smaller sensors can be used without problems. With larger sensors there is vignetting, which becomes somewhat less at higher magnifications.
Due to the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.
The transmitted light illumination helps when observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminators can be adjusted in five steps.
The magnification of a USB camera differs from the magnification of the lens. It depends, among other things, on the sensor size and the display on a monitor. It can be compared to macro lenses with macro factor 0.7:1 up to 4.5:1.

The Analyth STR with a MikrOkular Full HD eyepiece camera features 3 different objective magnifications that can be easily changed by turning the objective. The 10x, 20x and 40x magnifications are therefore directly changeable. Thanks to the stereo design, structured objects appear particularly vivid and three-dimensional. The low 10x starting magnification is ideal for working with children, and allows you to observe objects with a size of up to 20 mm. The Analyth STR is suitable for a diverse range of applications. It can be used to inspect insects, plants, minerals and much more, whether at home, at school or in the workplace. The stereo microscope can also be used for quality inspections, in horticulture and agriculture, for hydrology, and many other applications.Thanks to the supplied Full-HD eyepiece camera, you can save images and videos of your observations directly on your PC in Full HD resolution. Simply replace the eyepiece with the MikrOkular Full HD eyepiece. You can then document your microscope observations or share them with others with a simple click. The interpupillary distance and dioptre compensation can be adjusted individually. The eyepieces have a large 20 mm field of view. They are equipped with removable rubber eyecups as well as a built-in protection mechanism to prevent removal.
The microscope can be powered with the power adapter or with 3 batteries (not included). It is therefore suitable for mobile use, such as outdoors in the garden or on excursions.

Uses
The BRESSER digital microscope is perfect as a workshop microscope, such as for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components. It’s also useful for measurements, quality control of surfaces or testing of raw materials with the large field of vision and the right magnification through the high-quality zoom lens. The measuring microscope also allows for biological examination of plants and insects in detail on the high-resolution, movable 17.8 cm (7”’) colour LCD screen. The perfect tools for the job – such as for identifying plant diseases and pests in horticulture and agriculture. The powerful lens offer amazing insights into the microcosm, including in school and amateur use.
With the enclosed 100 mm extension for the tripod, you can also examine workpieces located at height, or benefit from the large field of vision up to max. 34 x 70 mm and a working distance of up to 195 mm.
Illumination
In order to illuminate the objects that you are examining evenly, without shadows, the reflected-light microscope has 3 light sources: 1 ring light with 6 LEDs and 2 gooseneck LED spotlights. The brightness of the lights can be easily controlled via the LED touch bar.
Recording function
Extensive analyses easily and efficiently: With the integrated camera, you can document your examinations in photo and video format. Using the remote control can also help to prevent camera shake. With the click of the mouse, the recordings can then be saved to a Micro SD card (up to 64 GB, not included) via the on-screen menu. No need for a PC or other external device for your work.
As the zoom can be focused to infinity, the digital microscope can also be used as a webcam. If required, you can easily attach the lens, including the screen, to a standard tripod using the integrated tripod connection thread.

In the microscope's basis, there are a transmitted light halogen illuminator (20 W) as well as the power supply and the continuous adjustable dimmers for reflected light and transmitted light. The trinocular head attachment works with both illumination modes. It also allows photography and binocular visual observation. The inclination of the eyepiece tubes is 30°.
With the polarization head attachment, the instrument is suitable for the internal structure of materials and for condition monitoring of different mechanical apparatus in college and factory. The reflected light halogen illumination (20W), which goes through the objective onto the object, can be modified for special purposes with a colour filter wheel and the polarizer/analyzer combination.
The Science ADL 601P is an instrument with an excellent value for money.
