Product information "Vixen SD103S apochromatic Refractor"
A new apochromatic refractor with high performance Super-ED glass (= SD). The FPL53 glass reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image by an exceptionally high degree of elimination of residual chromatic aberrations. The advantage of these SD refractors is their short length and low weight. The SD glass is designed to bring all beams of violet, red, blue, yellow and green very precisely together on the same plane. The special lens material, reduces chromatic aberration across all colors. In combination with the new optional SD Reducer HD Kit or SD Flattener HD, these refractors allow illumination with a 44mm image circle for full format SLR cameras.

Vixen SD Reducer HD Kit
High-performance flattener and reducer set connection rings for Vixen telescopes SD81S, SD103S and SD115S, as well as the ED predecessor series. High-performance flattener and reducer set The kit consists of a high-performance flattener, a reducer for reducing the focal length, and connection rings (distance ring SD81, EX Tube 66), which were developed for prime-focus astrophotography with the SD81S, SD103S and SD115S telescopes. The flattener and the 0.79x reducer deliver a significant increase in telescope performance and image quality. You obtain a flat and sharp image until the edges, including with a full-frame DSLR camera. Ultra-sharp image over the entire field of view of the DSLR full-frame sensor The SD flattener improves the image quality to the edge of the field of view without changing the original focal length of the telescope. The field of view of the DSLR camera with a full-frame sensor is fully illuminated (44 mm), ensuring that stars appear sharp until the edges of the image. When used in conjunction with the Reducer HD, the focal length is reduced by a factor of 0.79 (f/7.7→6.1) whilst maintaining the 44 mm illumination. High-contrast AS coating The anti-reflex AS coating, which is also used on our high-end VSD 100 f/3.8 astrograph, delivers a high light transmission of 99.9% per lens surface. Loss of light, ghosting and scattered light images are virtually eliminated thanks to the completely matte interior coating. FEATURES Reduces the focal length by a factor of 0.79 Designed for full-frame cameras High-contrast AS coating Ultra-sharp image over the entire field of view Designed for full-frame DSLR cameras Illumination: 44 mm Correct distance to chip: 63.5 mm Designed for the SD81S, SD103S and SD115S Also suitable for the ED81S, ED103S and ED 115S DELIVERY CONTENT SD Flattener HD Reducer HD Adapter ring for SD81 66 mm EX extension tube Dust caps

Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras
Vixen 60DX Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras This Vixen 60DX is a photographic adaptor for Canon EOS cameras, for use with telescopes with a 60 mm focuser drawtube connection thread. A redesign by Vixen uses new tougher materials for a more solid connection and also offers an accurate, well-machined camera rotator ring, in order to help frame your images perfectly. Camera-Adaptor for Canon EOS with 60mm Focuser connection thread Large inner diameter for full-format cameras, helping to minimise vignetting 6 locking 60° spaced bolts to hold the camera’s rotation in position Dimensions: 81mm x 30 mm / weight: 190g The option of using 6 long or 6 short fixing screws for the rotator The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods. The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras. Canon EOS-Bayonet fastener made of hardwearing brass, for years of hassle-free use. Increased material quality over conventional adapters provides more stability in use. 6 fixing bolts hold the camera in rotational position for increased sturdiness (standard rotators often only use 4, or less). FEATURES Screw tips with Delrin-tips prevent tilting of the camera and subsequent image distortion. Large inner diameter prevents vignetting. Inner blackening suppresses scattered light. Compatible with 60 mm accessories, when the camera adaptor is taken off. Two rotational bolt sets (Long and Short) are supplied. SCOPE OF DELIVERY 60DA Focal adaptor 6 long and 6 short fixing screws

Vixen SG-L02 Headlamp red-light white-light
The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem. However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility. They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark. The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm. The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen. FEATURES Dimmable red light ensures that your eyes stay adapted to the dark Built-in rechargeable battery, charges via USB Waterproof design LED colour can be switched from red to white 0.28 to 7.62 lumen for red light 3 to 42 lumen for white light Dimensions: 41 mm x 33 mm x 30 mm Weight: 29 g DELIVERY CONTENT SG-L02 head torch Strap (size S) Strap (size L) Pocket clip Cable for charging the battery (USB-A plug to USB Micro-B plug)

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC 114/900 Reflector Telescope AZ
This reflecting telescope shows not only the big planets, but also bright deep-sky objects when you are observing under dark skies. Fully equipped, and with a mount that is easy to use, this telescope is ideal for a beginner that has no astronomical knowledge, but wants to immerse him or herself in space. Explore the moons and cloud bands of Jupiter or the majestic rings of Saturn, or find other galaxies, star clusters and nebula on a moonless night. Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing. BRESSER JUNIOR 60/700 AZ1 Refractor Telescope
Would you like to go on a night walk and experience something out of this world? With a lens aperture of 60 mm this 60/700 refractor telescope already collects about 30 percent more light than a telescope with 50 mm aperture. The 60/700 already allows for higher magnifications – ideal to investigate in details like lunar craters. An additional finder scope mounted on the telescope makes it easier to locate objects in the sky. With the erecting eyepiece even during the day many exciting things in the surrounding can be observed. Due to the height adjustable tripod, the telescope can be brought to the right height for small or tall observers. The supplied diagonal mirror ensures comfortable viewing.Field of Application: At night the moon and planets like Saturn and Jupiter may be explored. But also impressive sparkling star clusters like the Pleiades impress young and old stargazers. With the included erecting eyepiece it is possible to get an unreversed, upright image, for example, for observation of nature during the day. Special features: Ultra light: The complete instrument with tripod weighs less than 2 kg! BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ Reflector Telescope with Smartphone Adapter & Solar Filter
The BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ reflecting telescope allows beginners to experience their very own stargazing hours quickly and easily. With the complete set, you are equipped with everything you need for your very own sky observations: an astronomical reflecting telescope with 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod as well as extensive accessories. And to guarantee a successful start in astronomy, the system is very easy to handle – the perfect first telescope for beginners! Established technology for your easy start – the telescope With this entry-level telescope, you will be able to admire the night sky through a classic Newtonian reflector. A little surprising for astronomy novices: with this particular type, you do not look in at the back of the telescope, but at the front and laterally. The advantage: even if the telescope aperture is directed vertically towards the sky, you can make your discoveries very comfortably. No need to bend down! In addition, the Newtonian reflector is very easy to use. The optics in this type of reflector telescopes are also impressive, because they are free of chromatic aberrations – resulting in good imaging properties at all times. A sharp image with good contrast – the Venus reflector telescope achieves this with its large focal ratio of about 1 to 9.2 (F/9.2 – calculated from 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length). Thanks to its long focal length, the telescope for beginners shows you the Moon, Sun, planets, open star clusters as well as globular clusters in a particularly impressive way. And all this at a magnification of up to 150x in really sharp images! Technically, you can magnify even higher – theoretically up to 525x while using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Of course, how much you can magnify depends not only on the resolving power of your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also plays an important role. Note for nature lovers: If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Venus reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation. However, the image is always displayed laterally reversed as well as upside down, which makes no difference when observing the sky. However, this type of telescope is less suitable for nature and landscape observation during the day. Would you like to use your new telescope for exciting nature discoveries as well? Then we recommend that you choose one of the BRESSER refractor telescopes. A good foundation for a successful start – mount and tripod The height-adjustable aluminium tripod and the azimuthal mount provide a firm footing and easy celestial navigation. Especially the azimuthal mount makes life easy for beginners, because it is very user-friendly: just like a typical photo tripod, you turn the telescope by hand to the left and right, up and down. This way, your favourite celestial objects quickly appear in your field of vision. Handy: to ensure that your astronomy accessories are always within reach, there is a storage plate between the tripod legs. Everything that goes with it – the accessories Out of the box straight to the fun of observing – with the complete astronomy set, you are quickly on your way to discovering the universe. The LED viewfinder helps you keep an eye on the sky. You just mount the direction finder parallel to the actual telescope and it projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. This then appears to be hovering in front of the sky when you look through the viewfinder. And it does so at exactly the same spot that your telescope is pointed at. This way, the LED finder helps you to align the reflector telescope precisely and to find the celestial objects more easily. When it comes to the level of detail in your observations, the Venus beginner's reflector telescope gives you a choice: the two included eyepieces (4 mm and 20 mm) allow you two different magnifications. You want to get an even closer look? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow lens. In addition, the socket diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) complies with an international and manufacturer-independent standard. So you can easily expand your set – and with it your astronomical horizon. If you want to observe fascinating sights not only at night but also during the day, simply grab the solar filter. With it, you can safely admire spots and granulation on our nearest star – the Sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! A new hobby leads to new impressions – and naturally you want to capture and share those. Therefore, you can easily use your mobile phone for your first steps into astrophotograpy with the smartphone adapter. Perfect for great snapshots of the Moon or the Sun, for example. Look forward to exciting astronomical discoveries by day and night – with the BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ reflector telescope. BRESSER JUNIOR Refractor Telescope 70/900 EL
Observing the stars like a professional - very easy with the BRESSER JUNIOR refractor telescope 70/700 EL. It is a complete system for the exploration of the wonders of the universe, consisting of telescope, mount, tripod and all accessories needed. With an aperture of 70 mm it reveils already many details of celestial objects. The mount can not only swing the telescope left / right and up / down, it can also be used in a so-called equatorial mode, as scientists do in their observatories (see further under Special features). An additional finder scope mounted on the telescope is useful for locating celestial objects. With the erecting lens many exciting things in the environment can also be seen during daytime. With the height-adjustable tripod, the telescope can each be brought to an optimal height for large or small observers. The supplied diagonal mirror ensures a comfortable viewing. At night the moon and planets may like Saturn and Jupiter can be explored. But thanks to the 70 mm wide aperture of the telescope also many celestial objects outside our solar system are within the reach of this telescope. Star clusters many light years away and nebula impress young and old stargazers. SPECIAL FEATURESMounting with wedge: At first glance, the NG mount of the refractor telescope 90/700 NG is a very ordinary azimuth mount: an axis for left / right and one for up / down, as we know it from normal camera tripods. This mode makes sense especially with observations during the day. With the built-in wedge it can be tilted, so the whole mount can be converted to an equatorial mount for astronomy with a single operation. For use of the equatorial mount an axis is aligned with the North Star. When tracking a celestial object only a single axis needs to be moved, which clearly is a relief compared to tracking an object on the night sky with mounts that only have left / right and up / down axis. BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ - Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Adapter & Solar Filter
Set up and start being amazed right away: the BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope takes you one step closer to the fascinating world of planets and star clusters. The complete astronomy set includes everything you need for your immediate start in celestial observation: an astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod and many accessories. The system is very easy to use – perfect for introducing children to the exciting hobby of astronomy. Simply an astronomical classic – the telescope A well-tried principle: this classic lens telescope – also called an achromatic refractor of the Fraunhofer type – shows beginners and children the beauties of the night sky. The starter telescope offers good imaging properties thanks to its modern, precisely coated optics. The large focal ratio of about 1 to 11.7 (F/11.7), which results from the ratio of the 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, delivers sharp images with good contrast. Ideal for exploring our Moon, the planets, but also open star clusters and globular clusters with your own eyes. But how big do these celestial objects appear? With its resolving power determined by the aperture size, the telescope easily delivers really sharp images up to about 120x magnification. Technically, even more is possible using this beginner’s telescope – theoretically up to 525x with the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the image usually becomes more and more blurred. In addition, the telescope is not the only factor determining the possible magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere is always an important criterion as well (seeing conditions). Your foundation for moving observations – mount and tripod Once you have found the right location for your astronomical adventures, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. The easy handling of this azimuthal mount allows you to move effortlessly from one astronomical sight to the next. Simply swing the starter telescope manually to the left and right, up and down – just like a normal photo tripod. In order to keep eyepieces, solar filters etc. within reach at all times, just place your accessories on the practical storage plate between the tripod legs. Everything for your astro quickstart – the accessories In order to enable you to see as much as possible, the beginner’s telescope comes with an extensive range of accessories. With the LED viewfinder, for example, you can keep track of the sky. It’s a direction finder that you mount parallel to the actual telescope. It projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. When you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating in front of the sky, exactly where the optics of your telescope are pointing. This makes it easier to find celestial objects and to align the telescope accurately – just before you look more closely with the higher magnification. And how high that is, you determine by choosing the appropriate eyepiece. Two are already included in the set: 4 mm and 20 mm. Moreover, you can triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow-lens. If at some point you want to extend your field of view with additional eyepieces, this poses no problem at all. The socket diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) corresponds to an international and manufacturer-independent standard. This offers you a wide choice of optional eyepieces you can use with your telescope. For you to direct your gaze comfortably to star clusters and planets, the 90-degree diagonal mirror allows you to easily look into the starter telescope. This way you don't have to lie down under the entry-level telescope when the optics are pointing at the sky. Instead, you just look in from the side. However, not only the night holds numerous interesting sights for us. During the day, especially our nearest star is worth a look. So take the solar-filter and direct your gaze safely at sunspots and granulation on the Sun. WARNING: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! If you want to capture and share your discoveries, just take photos of the Moon, Sun and more using the included smartphone adapter.
