For precise polar alignment of the POLARIE U Star Tracker.

With this fine adjustment unit DX you can make sensitive movements in all directions in order to achieve an exact polar alignment.

There is a quick-release fastener at the head of the fine-adjustment, which is compatible with the Vixen quick-change angle plate, or the Arca Swiss
system. You can attach or remove your Star Tracker quickly. An optional dovetail plate mounting block is available for versatile use.
Thanks to the two M8 threaded holes at a distance of 35 mm on the head, the quick release can be exchanged for the separately available dovetail mounting block.
This enables the straightforward mounting of telescopes or heavy telephoto lenses, like the Vixen FL55SS telescope.
The fine adjustment DX is equipped with a 1/4 "or 3/8" thread and can therefore be used on all common photo tripods.
This tripod adapter can be exchanged for a Vixen tripod adapter in order to be able to connect the fine adjustment unit to the heavier duty Vixen telescopic tripods too.
The fine adjustment DX enables a large adjustment range from -30 degrees to 90 degrees and 360 degrees in azimuth.
The mounted camera can be tilted freely from 0 degrees (horizontal) to 90 degrees (vertical) by loosening the clamping lever. The fine adjustments can be adjusted in a range of +/- 7.5 degrees.

It has been developed to track the stars and to compensate for the movement of the earth. Not only for beginners in astrophotography, this mount is particularly well suited, but also the experts swear by a compact and easy-to-use mount to automatically compensate for the natural rotation of the earth. The built-in tracking motor rotates the saddle-mounted camera precisely against the earth's rotation and thus the stars remain in pinpoint shape even with long exposures. If you already own a sturdy photo tripod with a video tilt head you can use the photo mount's head directly with the 1/4 inch & 3/8 inch photo thread holes. Tripod head with fine adjustment for fast and precise pole height adjustment of the BRESSER StarTracker Astrophoto Mount PM-100 art. no. 4964120. The BRESSER Micro Motion Head MH-100 allows a very precise adjustment by using large dimensioned knurled screws. In order to keep the adjustment distances by using the knurled screws as small as possible, the mounting plate has a quick-release clamping device with toothing in order to be able to select a rough presetting of the pole height (latitude at the location). The Micro Motion Head MH-100 can be mounted on any photo tripod with 1/4 inch photo thread closure. The BRESSER StarTracker astrophoto mount can then be mounted on the MH-100 tripod head without the use of tools using a 1/4" photo thread screw. The complete  motion head is made of black anodized aluminum and guarantees highest stability by the use of solid material.
