Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

The BRESSER dark field condenser dry (Infitiy/TFM) directs the light to the side of the specimen. It increases the contrast of the specimen considerably, especially with highly transparent specimens.
This type of illumination makes the observed object appear bright, against an almost black background. In this way, structures can be detected that are hardly visible in the bright field. The dark field condenser dry (Infitiy/TFM) is suitable for lenses that do not require oil immersion.

The BRESSER SLR camera adapter 2x T2 functions as an adapter between a microscope and a reflex or system camera. A camera-specific T2 ring is required for operation. This adapter is suitable for common microscopes with a 23.2 mm connection. Depending on the setup, you can achieve a parfocal image with a trinocular microscope. The BRESSER TRM-301 is a trinocular biological microscope of first-class quality: This means excellent imaging, good ergonomy, high stability and a modern attractive design. It is a laboratory microscope, which permits an intensive use, e.g. in medicine, biology, agriculture and industry area. A particular important feature of the TRM-301 is its ability for the Köhler illumination. This optimal illumination is bright, cool (going easy on the object), homogenous, reflex free and rich in contrast, so it makes the full use of the microscope optics. The Köhler illumination is standard for scientific research and microphotography. It is achieved with the fixed field diaphragm and the adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm).
