Accidents can happen: if the 7-in-1 solar-powered outdoor sensor for your BRESSER 4CAST PRO weather centre succumbed to the impact of your last house move or you dropped it while installing it in a new location, you’ll need a replacement. Thankfully, there’s no need to replace your entire weather station. This 7-in-1 solar-powered wireless sensor will get your weather station up and running again in no time. It is installed in the usual way: simply attach the wind vane and rain gauge funnel, insert the rechargeable battery and – last but not least – align the solar panel for your location. The solar panel must be pointed at the sun to ensure that there is sufficient power for your solar-powered wireless sensor to take reliable measurements throughout the year.

Practical features and useful weather data

In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. (PLEASE SET HOUR OFFSET TO -1 IN THE TIME SETTING MENU IF IN THE UK, IRELAND OR PORTUGAL TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT TIME FOR THESE AREAS).
The weather station is ideal for bedrooms: the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness to the surroundings so that your sleep is not disturbed. Particulate matter: invisible yet always present. In large amounts, these small particles in the air can be harmful to our respiratory system. With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. And you don't need to be an expert in order to determine whether the readings are within a healthy range: The air quality index shows you in 6 colour-coded levels whether the air is clean.
Historical air quality data
The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. The particulate matter meter therefore records a range of historical readings, including the maximum readings from the past hour and 24 hours, and the overall historical maximum, to give you better idea of trends in the air quality. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. The BRESSER Telescope Camera Adapter is the connecting piece between your 35 mm DSLR camera and the telescope. The connection to your camera can be achieved with the fitting T2-mount (T2-mount optional). For the focal fotography, you need to unscrew the bottom part of the adapter and attach the camera with the fitting T2-mount directly to the push-on contact.
