Designed for the Vixen R200SS Newtonian reflector, but also suitable for other optics with similar specifications. The optical design consists of 3 lenses in 3 groups. The corrector provides excellent correction of system-induced coma of parabolic mirrors and the resulting spherical aberration. The corrected field has a diameter of 44 mm, making it suitable for the 24x36 mm format (full-frame DSLR/CCD cameras). This guarantees razor-shape images across the entire field. The lens surfaces are coated with a cutting-edge 99.9% anti-reflective AS coating, which is also used for Vixen's flagship VSD100F3.8.Turn your Vixen R200SS reflector telescope into the perfect astrograph!FEATURESPremium coma corrector for the R 200SS Newton refelctor 3 lens systems in 3 groups, guarantees absolute colour purity and sharp stars to the edge of the field of viewImage illumination up to 44 mm for full-frame imagesReduces the focal length of the R 200SS from 800 mm to 760 mm 1:3.8Also suitable for visual observations with an eyepiece adapterWeight: 175 gDELIVERY CONTENTComa correctorDust caps on front and back
Vixen 60DX Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras
This Vixen 60DX is a photographic adaptor for Canon EOS cameras, for use with telescopes with a 60 mm focuser drawtube connection thread. A redesign by Vixen uses new tougher materials for a more solid connection and also offers an accurate, well-machined camera rotator ring, in order to help frame your images perfectly.
Camera-Adaptor for Canon EOS with 60mm Focuser connection thread
Large inner diameter for full-format cameras, helping to minimise vignetting
6 locking 60° spaced bolts to hold the camera’s rotation in position
Dimensions: 81mm x 30 mm / weight: 190g
The option of using 6 long or 6 short fixing screws for the rotator
The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods.
The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras.
Canon EOS-Bayonet fastener made of hardwearing brass, for years of hassle-free use.
Increased material quality over conventional adapters provides more stability in use.
6 fixing bolts hold the camera in rotational position for increased sturdiness (standard rotators often only use 4, or less).
FEATURES
Screw tips with Delrin-tips prevent tilting of the camera and subsequent image distortion.
Large inner diameter prevents vignetting.
Inner blackening suppresses scattered light.
Compatible with 60 mm accessories, when the camera adaptor is taken off.
Two rotational bolt sets (Long and Short) are supplied.

Made in Japan and designed for astrophotography, this premium extender lens system converts the R200SS parabolic mirror Newton reflector into an F5.6 astrograph. The Extender PH kit was developed to increase the focal length by a factor of 1.4x
It increases the focal length of the 800 mm (F4) R200SS Newton reflector to 1120 mm (F5.6).
The optical system structure of 4 elements in 3 groups corrects the coma error to render sharp images up to the edge of the field of view.
The extender illuminates the field of a full-frame camera (44 image circle).
When used in combination with the eyepiece adapter, the 31.7 mm eyepiece can be used for visual observations.
The same anti-reflective AS coatings used on our high-end VSD 100 f/3.8 astrograph are also used here to provide an outstanding light transmission of 99.9% per lens surface.
The completely matte surface in the interior keeps loss of light, ghosting and scattered light to a minimum. When used with the 50.8 mm eyepiece adapter, the extender PH kit provides a high-performance Barlow lens for visual observations and eliminates coma and aberrations over the entire field of view.

The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations!
Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations.
In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light.
With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light.
Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem.
However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility.
They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark.
The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm.
The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen.

Dimmable red light ensures that your eyes stay adapted to the dark

Designed as a complement to the AXD2 equatorial mount, the AXJ mount offers outstanding durability and precision.
The AXJ mount can also be used on AXD-TR102 tripods with an adapter.
Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory (total of 12 points per 30 degrees worm gear) and corrected before delivery. This is known as V-PEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount. It delivers an accuracy of +/- 4.0 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors.
Vixen uses a new Belt-drive system in the AXJ mount. The gear drive was replaced with a toothed belt drive.
This gives the mount a quicker reaction time and lower backlash. It also helps to minimize noise. The 6x20 polar finder scope is pre-installed.
This allows the user to configure the polar alignment (for both the northern and southern hemispheres).
The polar finder scope has a variable illuminated reticle with an automatic power-off function. The brightness can be adjusted in 8 levels so that the user can configure the desired brightness.
SETTING ACCURACY OF LESS THAN 3 ARC MINUTES
The dark field illumination (red LED) turns on when the push button is pressed. The reticle also lights up in red so that the observer can recognize and align stars in the background of the reticle. The light turns off automatically after a few minutes to save battery power.
2 bearing sets (4 pieces) are used for the shaft of the RA axis. Thanks to the newly developed EQ design, the ZXJ mount has a higher load capacity of 22 kg.
As the motors, worm shaft and worm gear are located in the lower part of the mount, fewer counterweights are required than with conventional mounts.
The STAR BOOK TEN controller is a modern control system with a high-resolution colour monitor.
The STAR BOOK TEN system contains more than 272,000 celestial objects, including 260,000 stars from the SAO catalogue, 109 Messier objects, 7840 NGC objects and 5380 IC objects, as well the soon, moon and planets. Objects can be accessed by name, and information such as images and data can be defined separately.

Featuring a large mirror with a high focal length, this telescope allows you to observe a wide range of night sky objects. Thanks to the catadioptric system (integrated Barlow lens), the tube has a short design-despite the high focal length-making the telescope highly portable. The BRESSER Spica Plus also comes with high-performance mechanics, including a premium equatorial mount that allows you to set up the telescope in no time. A focuser is attached to the side of the tube, as is standard on a Newtonian reflector telescope. It comes with two eyepieces for observing at different magnifications. Explore the planets of our solar system and discover new worlds. And if you'd like to capture your observations to share with others, you can take photos through the telescope using the supplied smartphone camera adapter.
Please note that Newtonian reflecting telescopes are ideal for astronomical observations, but are not suitable for observing wildlife and landscapes. For observing wildlife and landscapes, we recommend BRESSER refracting telescopes.

Astro all-rounder for beginners - the telescope
The astronomical telescope is a classic reflector telescope, a so-called Newtonian reflector. One characteristic of this particular type: They are designed to look in at the front and from the side instead of the rear. Thus, the observation position always remains comfortable, even when the tube is pointed vertically into the sky. Once familiar with it, the telescope is also very easy to use. These reflector telescopes also have one important advantage regarding their optics: they are free of chromatic aberrations and thus offer good imaging properties.
With its 130 mm aperture, this entry-level telescope already collects a lot of light from celestial objects. In addition, 130 mm aperture and 650 mm focal length result in a short focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of 1 to 5 (F/5). This allows you to marvel at a bright image through this fast telescope. It also allows for high magnifications, making the beginner's telescope a flexible all-rounder for sky observing. Enjoy the full range of astronomical highlights: At low to medium magnification, take in open and globular clusters such as M13 in the constellation Hercules. Or you can admire gas nebulae such as the famous Orion Nebula M42. At high magnifications, on the other hand, observing the planets or details on the Moon becomes an absolute pleasure.
The 130 mm aperture offers a resolution which allows you to admire your favourite celestial objects in sharp images at magnifications of up to about 260x. Technically, even more is possible - theoretically up to 487.5x with the included accessories. However, the image sharpness can then slowly decrease with increasing magnification. Nevertheless, how much you can really magnify, depends not only on your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) is also always an important factor in your astronomical observations.
Please note that reflecting telescopes of the "Newton" type always produce images both laterally reversed and upside down. This does not matter for astronomical observations, which is why these telescopes are very well suited for these purposes. For nature and landscape observations during the day, however, this characteristic is disruptive. Therefore, we recommend the BRESSER refracting telescopes for this application.
User-friendly and stable - mount and tripod
Have you found the perfect place for your observations? Then just attach the telescope to the equatorial mount and the height-adjustable aluminium tripod. The advantage of this type of mount: unlike azimuthal models, the movement of the celestial bodies has to be counterbalanced on just one axis. For this purpose, one axis is aligned parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at the polar star. Adjustment and tracking of the telescope is particularly precise and comfortable via the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment. And your accessories stay always within reach on the storage plate attached to the tripod.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable!
Complete astronomy starter package - the accessories
Unpack and get started straight away - the beginner's telescope comes with lots of accessories. The LED viewfinder enables you to navigate the night sky with ease. This direction finder is installed on the telescope and projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. When you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating at the exact location in the sky to which the telescope is pointed. Thus, the LED viewfinder allows you to easily find celestial objects and accurately align the telescope.
Different perspectives of the night sky: With the two eyepieces included, you are able to view astronomical objects at different magnifications. With the standard 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) diameter sockets, they are simply inserted into the telescope's focuser.
Do you want an even more detailed image? Then the 3x barlow lens can triple the magnification.
However, during the day taking a look at the sky is also worthwhile: with the solar filter you can safely observe sunspots and granulation on our very own star.
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
Whether Sun, Moon, planets or deep sky objects - with the smartphone adapter you can capture your most fascinating moments on intriguing snapshots. Simply slip it over the eyepiece and take your first steps in astrophotography!

Observing the stars like a professional - very easy with the BRESSER JUNIOR refractor telescope 70/700 EL. It is a complete system for the exploration of the wonders of the universe, consisting of telescope, mount, tripod and all accessories needed. With an aperture of 70 mm it reveils already many details of celestial objects. The mount can not only swing the telescope left / right and up / down, it can also be used in a so-called equatorial mode, as scientists do in their observatories (see further under Special features). An additional finder scope mounted on the telescope is useful for locating celestial objects. With the erecting lens many exciting things in the environment can also be seen during daytime. With the height-adjustable tripod, the telescope can each be brought to an optimal height for large or small observers. The supplied diagonal mirror ensures a comfortable viewing. At night the moon and planets may like Saturn and Jupiter can be explored. But thanks to the 70 mm wide aperture of the telescope also many celestial objects outside our solar system are within the reach of this telescope. Star clusters many light years away and nebula impress young and old stargazers. SPECIAL FEATURESMounting with wedge: At first glance, the NG mount of the refractor telescope 90/700 NG is a very ordinary azimuth mount: an axis for left / right and one for up / down, as we know it from normal camera tripods. This mode makes sense especially with observations during the day. With the built-in wedge it can be tilted, so the whole mount can be converted to an equatorial mount for astronomy with a single operation. For use of the equatorial mount an axis is aligned with the North Star. When tracking a celestial object only a single axis needs to be moved, which clearly is a relief compared to tracking an object on the night sky with mounts that only have left / right and up / down axis. Explore hidden worlds through your own eyes – with the BRESSER Pollux-I telescope starter set for budding amateur astronomers, you can go on your own journey of discovery in outer space. Everything you need is already included: the astronomical reflector telescope with 150 mm aperture and 750 mm focal length, the equatorial mount, the tripod and a wide range of accessories for astronomical observations. Perfect for getting started quickly: the system is very easy to use. In addition, the entry-level telescope impresses with its versatility: you can observe the Moon and planets as well as star clusters, gas nebulae and even galaxies through the high-quality optics. Due to the parabolic primary mirror the image delights with impressive sharpness and high contrast. In addition, the 2-inch focuser allows for the use of high-quality eyepieces. Perfect conditions for fascinating sights of the night sky!
Time-proven optics for your first astro-steps – the telescope
By choosing the Pollux-I, you’ll start your journey to the stars with a classic Newtonian reflector telescope. Beginners are often surprised by the fact that with telescopes of this type you don't look in at the back of the tube, but at the front and laterally. This gives you the advantage of always being able to look into the telescope in a comfortable posture, even when it's pointed vertically upwards at the sky. In addition, these reflector telescopes offer optics that are absolutely free of chromatic aberrations and thus provide good imaging properties.
The large aperture of 150 mm collects a lot of light from the celestial objects. In addition, 150 mm aperture and 750 mm focal length result in a short focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of 1 to 5 (F/5). On the one hand, this makes the telescope fast and provide a bright image. On the other hand, high magnifications can be achieved. This combination makes the entry-level telescope so versatile. In addition, the Pollux-I is equipped with a parabolic primary mirror. The remarkable effect of this special mirror shape: you enjoy excellent imaging properties at all magnification levels.
So you can look forward to the complete range of celestial highlights. At low to medium magnification, you can admire deep-sky objects such as open star clusters, globular clusters, gas nebulae and even galaxies such as the pair of galaxies M65 and M66 in the constellation Leo. And at high magnifications, observing the planets or details on the Moon is an absolute pleasure.
You can get really close to your favourite objects: The aperture of 150 mm achieves a resolving power that allows magnifications of up to about 300x with sharp images. Technically, even higher magnifications are possible, theoretically up to 562.5x using the included accessories. However, with increasing magnification, the sharpness of the image can slowly decrease. In addition, the prevailing conditions always make a difference: How highly you can magnify always depends not only on the power of the telescope but also on the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions).
The telescope also impresses with its flexibility in terms of eyepiece compatibility: it comes with a 2-inch focuser (focuser extension) and an adapter from 2 inch to 1.25 inch. This enables you to use eyepieces with 1.25-inch sockets (about 31.7 mm) as well as eyepieces with the larger 2-inch sockets (about 50.8 mm) with large fields of view.
Note for nature lovers:
If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Pollux-I reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation. However, the image is always displayed laterally reversed as well as upside down, which makes no difference when observing the sky. However, this type of telescope is less suitable for nature and landscape observation during the day. Would you like to use your new telescope for exciting nature discoveries as well? Then we recommend that you choose one of the BRESSER refractor telescopes.
Perfect foundation for fascinating discoveries – mount and tripod
Your beginner's telescope is securely held by the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with equatorial mount. The special feature of this mount, also known as a parallactic mount: in contrast to azimuthal models, the movement of the celestial bodies is only compensated for on one axis instead of two. For this purpose, you simply align one axis parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at Polaris.
For precise and comfortable alignment and tracking of the entry-level telescope, the Pollux-I comes equipped with two flexible shafts with fine adjustment. And to ensure that the interchangeable eyepieces, barlow lens etc. always remain within reach, they can be stored on the tray between the tripod legs.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable!
Well equipped for the ideal start – the accessories
Your entry-level telescope comes with a wide range of astronomy accessories so that you can start to be amazed right away. For example, the LED viewfinder helps you align the telescope and find celestial objects. Installed in parallel on the telescope, this direction finder shows you a red dot when you look through it. It appears to hover in front of the sky and thereby shows you where the telescope is pointing.
Varying view of the sky: With the two eyepieces with 1.25-inch sockets (31.7 mm), you can admire your astronomical discoveries at different magnifications. The 3x barlow lens already included in the set triples the magnification of the eyepiece you are using.
Enjoy safe observations of our Sun with the included solar filter. This way you can easily take a closer look at sunspots and granulation on our own star.
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
Astrophotography for beginners: with the smartphone adapter, you can use your mobile phone as a camera on the telescope. This way you will quickly impress friends and relatives with your own first snapshots e. g. of the Moon or the Sun.

And to guarantee a successful start in astronomy, the system is very easy to handle – the perfect first telescope for beginners!
Established technology for your easy start – the telescope
With this entry-level telescope, you will be able to admire the night sky through a classic Newtonian reflector. A little surprising for astronomy novices: with this particular type, you do not look in at the back of the telescope, but at the front and laterally. The advantage: even if the telescope aperture is directed vertically towards the sky, you can make your discoveries very comfortably. No need to bend down! In addition, the Newtonian reflector is very easy to use. The optics in this type of reflector telescopes are also impressive, because they are free of chromatic aberrations – resulting in good imaging properties at all times.
A sharp image with good contrast – the Venus reflector telescope achieves this with its large focal ratio of about 1 to 9.2 (F/9.2 – calculated from 76 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length). Thanks to its long focal length, the telescope for beginners shows you the Moon, Sun, planets, open star clusters as well as globular clusters in a particularly impressive way. And all this at a magnification of up to 150x in really sharp images! Technically, you can magnify even higher – theoretically up to 525x while using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Of course, how much you can magnify depends not only on the resolving power of your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also plays an important role.
Note for nature lovers:
If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Venus reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation.
A good foundation for a successful start – mount and tripod
The height-adjustable aluminium tripod and the azimuthal mount provide a firm footing and easy celestial navigation. Especially the azimuthal mount makes life easy for beginners, because it is very user-friendly: just like a typical photo tripod, you turn the telescope by hand to the left and right, up and down. This way, your favourite celestial objects quickly appear in your field of vision. Handy: to ensure that your astronomy accessories are always within reach, there is a storage plate between the tripod legs.
Everything that goes with it – the accessories
Out of the box straight to the fun of observing – with the complete astronomy set, you are quickly on your way to discovering the universe. The LED viewfinder helps you keep an eye on the sky. You just mount the direction finder parallel to the actual telescope and it projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. This then appears to be hovering in front of the sky when you look through the viewfinder. And it does so at exactly the same spot that your telescope is pointed at. This way, the LED finder helps you to align the reflector telescope precisely and to find the celestial objects more easily.
When it comes to the level of detail in your observations, the Venus beginner's reflector telescope gives you a choice: the two included eyepieces (4 mm and 20 mm) allow you two different magnifications. You want to get an even closer look? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow lens. In addition, the socket diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) complies with an international and manufacturer-independent standard. So you can easily expand your set – and with it your astronomical horizon.
If you want to observe fascinating sights not only at night but also during the day, simply grab the solar filter. With it, you can safely admire spots and granulation on our nearest star – the Sun.
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
A new hobby leads to new impressions – and naturally you want to capture and share those. Therefore, you can easily use your mobile phone for your first steps into astrophotograpy with the smartphone adapter. Perfect for great snapshots of the Moon or the Sun, for example.
Look forward to exciting astronomical discoveries by day and night – with the BRESSER Venus 76/700 AZ reflector telescope.

Ultra Light Dobsonian 254mm GENERATION II - with completely redesigned and improved construction. No telescope type has influenced amateur astronomy as radically as the
dobsonian telescope. Before the introduction of this telescope type by
John Dobson the vast majority of amateur telescopes were small
inadequate refractors on shaky mounts - just good enough to show the
polar regions on mars or the rings of Saturn. Bigger telescopes, like
the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, were restricted to the relatively
small group of amateurs that could afford them. The brilliant combination
of simple - but effective - mechanics and the largest aperture
available led to a worldwide triumph of this concept. No other telescope
type offers you so much light for your money as a good dobson. We have
taken the motto "held together by gravity and driven by yoghurt power"
and offer a modern version of the classic - designed by amateur
astronomers for amateur astronomers. Despite its large aperture the
telescope can be transported easily even in small cars and is assembled
within minutes without tools. The construction was optimized for maximum
rigidity with a minimum of mass. The combination of big altitude wheels
and a optimized aluminium-sandwich construction allows for small
movements even at high magnifications. The focus position is already
positioned to accept our coma-corrector. The ideal workhorse for the

Vixen has developed a new generation of SX mounts for demanding observers and astrophotographers. The SXD2WL mount is simply operated via a Wifi module with a smartphone or tablet.
By controlling the mount with your smartphone using the free STAR BOOK Wireless app, you can easily use sky navigation functions such as automatic GoTo panning of celestial objects via your smartphone or tablet.
By eliminating the power consumption of the conventional LCD (STAR BOOK TEN), the power consumption on the mount is reduced by up to 20%, thus enabling longer astronomical observation and astrophotography. When the desired celestial object is selected from a list, it is automatically panned into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins. An existing STAR BOOK TEN controller can also be used on this mount without any problems.
Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the top model, the AXD mount, the SXD2WL brings a new standard of performance and precision to the Vixen mount family. With a photographic load capacity of 15 kg, the axis cross of the mount weighs just 9.2 kg making it ideal for mobile observations. In addition, the motors mounted in the lower part of the mount also serve as a counterweight, so the mount requires fewer weights for balancing. The SXD2 mount in detail Precision stepper motors and micro-step motion control system At the heart of the SXD2 are the precision stepper motors, which offer better performance and response than previous models. The micro-step motion control system offers powerful and yet very smooth drive characteristics, which are given both in fine movements and in fast pans.
Built-in bearings
The bearings of the RA and DEC axes and the worm shafts have been significantly improved to reduce the load on the motors. As a result, the motors move much more smoothly than in previous models. High-precision worm gears
High-precision processing technologies eliminate worm gear errors. The edges of the two worms and worm wheels are particularly smooth, enabling very precise tracking.
Declination axis as counterweight
The solid motor units are installed in the lower part of the declination axis so that the center of gravity of the SXD2 is below the intersection point of the RA and DEC axes. This means you need fewer additional counterweights. Latitude setting
The latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable +/- 15 degrees per zone, for high, medium and low latitudes); latitude scale in 2-degree increments; fine adjustment with a tangent screw head, approx. 0.8 degrees per turn. Built-in PFL-II polar finder with illumination The built-in 5x20mm polar finder with 10° field of view has a 3-star alignment system.
This eliminates the inconvenience of setting the date and original time.
The illuminated reticle with variable brightness and automatic switch-off is adjustable in 8 levels and illuminated in red. The adjustment accuracy is 3 arc minutes. The wireless module in detail The Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet.
With the smartphone app STAR BOOK Wireless (free of charge) you can navigate the sky without any cables.
The app turns your smartphone or tablet into a control unit for the equatorial mount in no time at all.
The response delay of the mount, which is considered the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired connections. Reduced power consumption compared to conventional controllers with LCD monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing longer observations than with conventional
wired controllers such as the STAR BOOK TEN. Operation similar to the STAR BOOK TEN controller. The STAR BOOK Wireless app has a similar structure to the STAR BOOK TEN controller.
Depending on the star map setting, it contains up to 259,000 celestial objects.
Tap on a celestial object in the object list and start the GoTo.
The mount will now automatically move to this target and bring it into the telescope's field of view.
All the popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN are retained Convenient operation When looking through the telescope operate the mount by swiping on the app's star chart. As there are no buttons, simply slide your finger over the star chart to operate the mount conveniently. Extensive astronomical data included In addition to data on easily observable celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects and IC objects, this also includes the sun, moon, planets, comets and dwarf planets. High-precision alignment By aligning the mount to one or two stars, you can already achieve fairly precise positioning.
By aligning the mount to three or more stars, you can achieve high-precision alignment of the mount for high magnifications.
The objects are then approached precisely and centrally in your telescope's field of view.
The alignment information is saved and can be retained even when the device is switched off.
By leaving the telescope in its current state after completing an observation without moving it, you can start the automatic installation with the same settings for the next observation. Individual setting options As with the STAR BOOK TEN control unit, the app offers various individual settings, such as gear backlash compensation, night mode in red,
autoguider and variable GoTo speed and LED brightness.
You can also set the timing of the reversal of the objective tube (meridian flip) as desired.
Even if the object moves to the south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from reversing. Important note: Cannot be used on old SX mounts with the old blue Star Book! Technical information about the Wifi module: CPU with 32-bit CISC processor 120 MHz
The unit is connected to the mount via a D-SUB 9PIN connector as with the STAR BOOK TEN.
It has a 6-pin 6-wire modular plug for external autoguider operation.

This telescope set has everything that you need for hobby astronomy.
The set includes a telescope, a mount with automatic tracking and a stable tripod.
Featuring the STARBOOK TEN controller, the telescope locates celestial objects automatically so that you don’t need to search for them manually.
Even if you’re not an expert, you can still give your friends an exciting tour through the night sky!
The AXD 2 mount in detail:
Robust construction and lightweight housing with 30 kg load capacity (photographic)
The RA and DEC axes are made using the A7075 superalloy, one the strongest aluminium alloys. The stability of the A7075 superalloy is stronger than titanium, which is known for its strength as a lightweight material. Its thickness is 38% less than titanium. Using the A7075 superalloy for the axes ensures that the AXD mount is both lightweight and stable.
21 bearings
The rotating parts of the AXD mount have a total of 21 bearings. These ensure uniform motion in order to swivel the telescope and track objects.
Stepper motors
Vixen uses precise stepper motors for the mount in order to ensure optimal performance. The motors are controlled via a micro-step motion control system, which eliminates the disadvantage of stepper motors with large steps. The system generates 400 impulses per second at a high speed. This results in very quiet scanning with no vibrations. The stepper motors on the AXD mount have sufficient torques. This is most significant when working at high magnifications and photographing with a CCD camera with small pixel sizes.
Worm gears
The sizes of the worm gears were increased in the latest Atlux version. The AXD mount has 270 teeth in the RA axis and 216 teeth in the DC axis. Both axes are 50 mm in diameter. This ensures that the mount operates with precision and stability.
Low backlash
The Vixen micro-step motion control system ensures that the stepper motors run uniformly at low and high speeds. This eliminates the need for reduction gears in the motor and therefore reduces the backlash in the gears.
Elegant design
The flat sides of the mount were designed based on previous generations of the New Atlux range. The white and silver housing provides a modern and elegant exterior with high functionality.
The AXD is the flagship model in the Vixen mount range.
Original motor layout
The solid RA and DEC motor units are arranged in the lower part of the mount. This means that they automatically act as a counterweight. As a result, you require far fewer weights on the counterweight bar. On small devices, no counterweight is required. The counterweight bar can be slid fully into the housing.
Polar finder scope
The AXD mount is equipped with a 6x20 polar finder as standard. The polar finder features an integrated scale, which provides a quick and easy way to polar align the telescope in the northern hemisphere.
For observations in southern latitudes, the polar finder features an image of the Octans constellation, which can be aligned with the night sky.
VPEC periodic error correction
Periodic errors on mounts are usually measured and corrected by the user. Unlike the old StarBook controller, the STAR BOOK TEN controller saves these errors permanently. The periodic error of the mount is measured in the factory and corrected before delivery. This is known as VPEC and functions automatically as soon as you use the mount.
It delivers an accuracy of +/- 2.8 arc seconds. You can increase the tracking accuracy further by saving your own recorded periodic errors.
The VMC 260 in detail
The optics of the VMC260L are significantly better than the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Despite its high 3000 mm focal length, it is just 650 mm long.
Featuring a large 260 mm aperture, the telescope collects large amounts of light for serious professional observations and photography of the planets and countless deep-sky objects.
Thanks to the dielectric mirrors, the VMV260L guarantees razor-sharp images and maximum brightness. The open lens barrels cool the telescope quicker than conventional closed Cassegrain systems.
The telescope can be used with an optional 0.62x focal reducer to reduce the aperture ratio to 1:7.1. This shortens the exposure times and allows you to photograph large objects. The telescope comes with a standard dovetail bar and a carry handle that doubles up as a camera holder for night sky photography.

NEW – now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. In the past few years the BRESSER Newton telescopes have become the standard workhorse for Deep Sky astrophotography. We now proudly present the second generation of this telescope, the BRESSER NT-203s/800 with Hexafoc and fast parabolic main mirror. The Bresser NT-203s/800 f3.9 will deliver you deeper images due to its - compared to 8" f/5 systems - oversized primary mirror and therefore faster optical system with the same exposure time. The big 85 mm secondary prevents vignetting for optimal illumination The excellent 2,5" Hexafoc focuser also does not cause vignetting due to its large diameter and makes focussing a joy - the smoothness and shifting-free operation sets new standards in this price class. This groundbreaking focuser, tube rings with 44mm universal standard dovetail and camera mounting feature and a high-end finderscope with haircross and laser-engraved scale leave nothing to desire even for demanding astrophotographers. The NT-203s/800 Hexafoc has a classical tube construction with an aluminium tube. The focuser can be upgraded with a 10:1 reduction (part No. 0625720) without problems. Also prepared for use with the HR Coma Corrector (part No. 0510330) which eliminates coma, field-curvature and astigmatism. BRESSER EXOS-2 GoTo Equatorial Mount. Mount, tripod and hand box with computer. This German mount has tracking motors in both axes that follow celestial objects very precisely. The handbox with GoTo works reliable and controls the mount in every situation. Precise ball bearings in both axes ensures minimal backlash at all nine possible tracking speeds. Large binoculars with 70 mm ED glass objective lensesObserve the beauty of the starry sky at night and distant objects in nature during the day. By customer request, we have succeeded in producing a new edition of these legendary binoculars. The ED glass lenses guarantee enormously high sharpness, contrast and colour purity even during the day. Globular clusters, luminous gas nebulae, the moon with its craters and even planets can be observed wonderfully on a clear night. But also all other distant things in nature and landscape, even ships, aircrafts and animals can be seen in detail at long distances. With the binoculars of the Vixen BT series, you can bring everything up close. The large, fast ED lenses in combination with the ultra modern magnesium fluorite coatings on all lens surfaces enable maximum light transmission. Thus, these binoculars produce bright, sharp and high-contrast images even at night and dusk, allowing for a particularly aesthetic viewing pleasure.Comfortable travel binoculars can also be used with photo tripodsThe comfortable 45-degree viewer enables comfortable viewing even when the binoculars are tilted towards the zenith. The BT-ED70S-A large binoculars are 4 kg light and particularly portable. An attached metal carrying handle ensures easy transport and a secure grip during tripod mounting. The binoculars have a standard Vixen dovetail rail as well as a standard 1/4 and 3/8 inch photo tripod thread. They can therefore be used on almost all common photo tripods and telescope mounts. The ideal binocular mountHowever, we recommend the Vixen HF2 fork mount for mounting. Thanks to its sophisticated design and precision mechanics, it offers perfect viewing comfort and practically zero vibrations. Especially for astronomical observations, a solid mount with tripod is one of the most important accessories. This guarantees observation without shaking and allows you to see even the finest details.Interchangeable 1.25-inch eyepiecesStay flexible and use your favourite eyepieces and ideal magnification. The BT-ED70S-A has standardised 1.25-inch eyepiece holders, allowing you to change eyepieces at any time.Which eyepieces can be used? All eyepieces with a 1.25'' barrel. Eyepieces with focal lengths of 8 to 26 mm are particularly recommended. The magnification can thus be varied from approx. 15x to 50x (focal length of binoculars : focal length of eyepiece = magnification). The eyepieces are held in the binoculars by a precise brass ring clamp and guarantee a tilt-free position. Depending on the interpupillary distance, the outer diameter of the eyepiece housing should not exceed a value of approx. 50 mm. Of course, two identical eyepieces of the same series should always be used.Use of colour and nebula filters for astronomical observationsIncrease the contrast and visibility of objects and details by screwing the appropriate filters directly into the thread of the eyepiece sleeves. Of course, colour and nebula filters must always be used in pairs. All EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC screw-in filters with 1.25''/31.7 mm diameter are suitable (see Art. No. 03102xx).Comfortable 45-degree viewer and single focusingThe 45-degree viewer enables a relaxed observation position even when the binoculars are heavily tilted. The individual interpupillary distance can also be adjusted within a range of 58 to 102 mm. The fine helical focusing system makes precise focusing simple and effortless.Retractable dewcapsThe integrated dew caps can be pulled out in high humidity and cold conditions. This prevents fogging of the outer objective lenses and effectively shields from additional stray light coming in from the side.FEATURESObjective lenses: 70 mm / ED apochromaticFull multi-coating on all lens surfacesFocal length 400 mm (F = 5.7)Resolving power: 1.66 arcsecondsLimiting magnitude: Mag 11.0Dimensions: 400 × 190 × 155 mmWeight: 4 kgAdjustable interpupillary distance: 58-102 mmIntegrated and retractable dew capsViewfinder shoe: Vixen StandardEyepiece mount: 1.25 inch / 31.7 mm barrel diameterSingle eyepiece focusingTripod mount: GP dovetail rail, 1/4 and 3/8 inch photo tripod threads.SCOPE OF DELIVERYBT-ED70S-A Large Binoculars (without eyepieces)Vixen finder shoeIntegrated dew capsDust coverCarrying handle
