Vixen VC200L Optical tube
Astrophotographers generally use two different focal lengths: Short focal lengths for overview photos and extensive deep-sky objects, and long focal lengths for objects which are further away. Our aspherical mirror optics offer the perfect solution for these scenarios. The VISAC primary mirror (Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain) is specially designed for astrophotography and provides a fully flat and true-colour image over the entire image frame. Thanks to the three-element field corrector in front of the convex secondary mirror, there is no spherical aberration, coma or field curvature. Although the device is designed for astrophotography, it is also suitable for visual observations. Vixen VMC200L Maksutov-Cassegrain mirror telescope - optical tube
Featuring an improved design and optical properties, this compact field corrected Maksutov-Cassegrain system is Vixen's answer to Schmidt Cassegrain and more conventional Maksutov Telescopes. Instead of a heavy corrector plate, the Meniscus corrector is located directly in front of the secondary mirror. As a result, the Field-Maksutov does not dew up easily, as most conventional SCT s and Maksutovs do, when exposed to humid air.  Thanks to the VMC's open tube system, the optics cool down quickly, ensuring that the telescope is ready for use in no time - again offering advantages over traditional Schmidts and Maksutovs, which can take a long time to acclimatise and reach thermal equilibrium. The long focal length of the VMC allows you to make detailed observations of planets, distant galaxies, individual lunar craters and mountains and many other celestial objects.  The mirror is manufactured using an advanced coating deposition technique, normally reserved for research-grade instruments - ensuring an extremely smooth and precisely-finished optical surface.  This, combined with the secondary corrector delivers extremely pleasing visual and photographic performance, with a very flat field.  Unlike the primary mirrors in many rival SCTs and Maksutovs, the VMC200L's primary is fixed and doesn't travel on a focuser baffle, adding to stability and as a result this telescope does not suffer from "mirror flop" or focus shift. The focuser is a conventional, smooth-running single speed rack and pinion design, which ensures stability, even at high loading.  It can be simply upgraded to dual speed use for finer focus control with the X000143 Vixen Dual-Speed-Focuser, if required. The telescope is supplied with a standard Vixen profile mounting dovetail bar and is also supplied with a carry handle, which makes transport and mounting much easier.  The carry handle can also double up as a mounting platform for other accessories, if required. The VMC200L is also supplied with Vixen's superb 7x50mm illuminated finderscope, with variable brightness control, to help you guide the telescope accurately to targets.Last, but not least, is the inclusion of Vixen's extremely useful flip mirror system, which allows for mutual mounting of 1.25" eyepieces or accessories.  Both eyepiece holders can be unscrewed, revealing a standard T2 mounting thread, which allows easy mounting of many cameras or other photographic accessories to either port.  The ability to be able to flip simply between visual use and a camera is of great help when trying to centre and image compact targets - speeding up acquisition of targets and making better use of your time under the night sky.FEATURES 200 mm mirror Focal length: 1950 mm (f9.75) Resolution and limiting magnitude: 0.45 arc seconds; 13.3 Light-gathering power: 816x Backfocus without Reducer: 144.9 mmBackfocus with Reducer: 63.5 mm Dimensions and weight: 232 x 510, 6.8 kg Adapter and connections: 60 mm thread WHAT’S INCLUDED Dovetail bar Flip mirror Carry handle 7x50 viewfinder, illuminated

Vixen VSD90ss Astrograph
Fast 90 mm high-performance astrograph for demanding astrophotographers and observers with 5 lens elements in 5 groups. Due to the complex optical structure with five lens groups and five elements (quintuplet), including two SD (Super ED) lenses and an ED lens (Extra-low Dispersion) , a virtually aberration-free optical system was created. This revolutionary astrograph is compatible with a full-frame digital DSLR or an even larger 44x33 mm camera. The 90 mm astrograph with fast aperture ratio delivers exceptionally sharp, high-contrast and small point stars from the centre to the corners of the field of view. In addition, it is also ideal for visual observation with a very large field of view but also for planetary observation with high magnification. The VSD90ss is designed so that there is a "long peak range" in the adjustment accuracy of the sharpness, so that photographers can always achieve satisfactory results in astrophotography. Even if the focus is not quite precise, round and sharp stars are still shown throughout the entire image field. Illumination without vignetting In most cases, an astrograph also produces optical vignetting (a gradual decrease in light rays towards the edge of the image) This is mainly caused by rear lenses being shaded by the front lenses. Because of this darkening, it is relatively normal for the photographer to have to further edit the image after taking the picture and also have to do some additional so-called flats before taking the picture. To solve this problem, the VSD90ss uses wide aperture lenses in the rear elements, securing over 90 % of the light volume at the edge of the 60 mm image circle. Since the light intensity is uniform throughout the entire image field of the VSD90ss, there is no need for complex technology to prevent edge darkening. The VSD90ss is coated with the most modern coatings of extremely high reflectivity. These coatings have been specifically developed to optimize the properties of each individual lens element without degrading contrast and light intensity across multiple lenses. Numerous gradations of light bring beautiful point-like stars into the image field The low optical vignetting ensures sufficient illumination and thus eliminates the asymmetric flare caused by bright, diffraction-limited stars. It prevents stars at the edge of the 60 mm image circle from exhibiting deformations such as comets, astigmatism or coma. Since the illumination of the image field is relatively similar from the center to the edge of the image, you can expect excellent star imaging. Please note: *Depending on the recording system used, mechanical vignetting can still occur due to the camera body or incorrect adapters. 96.7% Strehl for impressive visual observations The VSD90ss offers a flattened large field of view with a low magnification wide angle eyepiece. Even with a high-quality wide-field eyepiece with a large field of view, you can get sharp images of stars in the entire field of view when visually observing! In the centre of the field of view, a Strehl intensity of an impressive 96.7% is achieved at visible wavelengths. This Strehl ratio exceeds that of the SD81SII apochromat at 95.7%, which is known for its excellent optical properties, and this also works excellently when observing the moon and planets at high magnification. The versatile large and stable focuser The VSD90ss has a large focuser with a diameter of 87.5 mm to make optimal use of the large illumination field of 60 mm. With the large extension that is compatible with many accessories, it is perfect for astrophotography up to large format or 35 mm full frame DSLR cameras. Thanks to its precise manufacturing, it is also suitable for very heavy cameras without tipping. The precision locking lever of the eyepiece extension The focuser's extension tube has a locking lever that holds the extension tube firmly in position even when using heavy cameras such as large format cameras or CCD cameras with a large sensor. The locking lever clamps the rack gear to the extension barrel so that the viewing angle or focus on your camera does not shift. Compatible with motor driven focusers An optional two-speed motor focuser (not included) is available for the VSD90ss to provide sensitive focusing. An EAF (Electronic Automatic Focuser) from ZWO or equivalent can also be retrofitted. Optional VSD Reducer for even faster results The tried and tested optional VSD reducer, which was also used on the predecessor, the VSD 100, is also compatible with the VSD90ss. The photographer gets even faster results in astrophotography with an aperture ratio of 1:3.9. CHARACTERISTICS 90 mm aperture, 495 mm focal length (F5.5) Needle-fine stars up to the image field edge in 44x33 mm format 5 lens elements in 5 groups Image illumination up to 60 mm Resolution power: 1.29 Limit size: 11.5 Light gathering capacity: 165x Illumination: 60 mm Dimensions: 115 mm diameter x 600 mm length (476 mm length for storage) Weight: 4.3 kg Connections/Thread: Size thread/84 mm (pitch 1 mm), 60 mm (pitch 1.0 mm), 42 mm for T-ring push fit / 60.2 mm, 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm Solar observation: separately available solar projection approach B Optional VSD100 reducer compatible (opening ratio F: 3.9) SCOPE OF DELIVERY VSD90ss high performance astrograph

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 4K DEEP SKY ASTRO Camera & Guider 8,3 MP II
Enter the world of astrophotography now - with the new EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 4K DEEP SKY ASTRO Camera including ST4 autoguider function. This is truly new: Equipped with the new high-sensitive IMX585 Exmor CMOS colour sensor, this astronomy camera delivers amazing image results with extremely short exposure times even with basic telescope equipment. In addition, this ultra-modern camera can also be used as an autoguider, e.g. to actively track the main imaging device with an SLR or CCD astro camera. An all-round camera that delivers super-sharp and high-resolution planetary images. The high 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels guarantees the best possible image result. Sensor The secret to the high light sensitivity is the new back illuminated Exmor CMOS sensor. It increases the quantum efficiency to up to 77 % at 533 nm, which leads to an extremely high light sensitivity and thus particularly bright and high-contrast photos. In addition, the particularly low noise level of this new CMOS sensor generation ensures exceptionally high brilliance and no active cooling is required. Nevertheless, this astro camera has an elaborate internal structure made of aluminium for ideal heat radiation and a fan that can be switched on via software. When used with suitable telescopes, the high native pixel resolution of 3840x2160 enables very nice overview images of the moon, but also detailed planetary images. Solar Imaging This camera is also recommended for solar astro-photography. Especially the Lunt LS40 THa solar telescopes (item No. 0551145/0551146/0551147), with their short focal length, allow in combination with this planetary camera with its large sensor great overview images of the sun. Important Note: When observing and taking photos of the sun, always use a suitable protective solar filter or a special solar telescope. Otherwise there is a risk of immediate blindness and damage to the camera. Software The included Explore Capture professional software offers not only the necessary basic functions for image and video capture, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and for setting up the guider. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image capture, stacking, timelapse recording and much more can be configured individually. Especially the very sophisticated software makes it really easy for you to get started in astrophotography. With the automatic settings you can produce absolutely presentable results without a lot of prior knowledge. And when you are ready, simply switch off the automatic settings and gradually venture into the individual professional settings. Automatic tracking control Connect the camera directly to the ST4 port of your telescope mount and you have a fully automatic tracking control. Thus, long exposures of several minutes are possible without the stars producing unwanted star traces due to the always existing periodic error of the telescope mount gears. A corresponding ST-4 connection cable is even included in the camera's scope of delivery. Because of the high light sensitivity of the camera, you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times. Simple automatic tracking at its best. Connection For the connection to telescopes, guiding scopes or off-axis guiders the camera has a 1.25'' socket with 1.25'' filter thread (M28.5x0.6) and a large T2 connection thread (M42x0.75) directly on the housing. IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10 or 11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding. The autoguider software is not included. You can use PHD2 Guiding, GuideDog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (paid). The distance between the bottom of the 31.7 mm sleeve on the camera side and the sensor surface should be approximately 17 mm. However, the focus position may vary depending on the camera, so you should adjust the guiding camera for focus before use. The focus of the optics is adjusted by rotating the lens. First, the black lock ring on the main optics must be loosened. Then, the focus can be adjusted by turning the lens mount. Please also read the operating instructions for the viewfinder and the CMOS camera used.If the focus of the viewfinder has been adjusted, the focus position must be readjusted when using the eyepiece unit.FEATURESMagnification: 7xAperture: 50 mmLenses: coatedCrosshairs: illuminated in red, dimmableDimensions: 220 mm × Ø 58 mmWeight: 467 gSCOPE OF DELIVERY7x50 viewfinderEyepiece unit with illuminationCR2032 batteryInstruction manual

Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras
Vixen 60DX Focal adaptor for Canon EOS Cameras This Vixen 60DX is a photographic adaptor for Canon EOS cameras, for use with telescopes with a 60 mm focuser drawtube connection thread. A redesign by Vixen uses new tougher materials for a more solid connection and also offers an accurate, well-machined camera rotator ring, in order to help frame your images perfectly. Camera-Adaptor for Canon EOS with 60mm Focuser connection thread Large inner diameter for full-format cameras, helping to minimise vignetting 6 locking 60° spaced bolts to hold the camera’s rotation in position Dimensions: 81mm x 30 mm / weight: 190g The option of using 6 long or 6 short fixing screws for the rotator The Vixen 60DA Focal adaptor connects your Canon EOS DSLR Camera to a telescope with an appropriate 60 mm Focuser Drawtube Thread. Thanks to the use of new materials and an improved design Vixen was able to considerably uprate both precision and durability, when compared to conventional rotational camera adaptors. Two sets of rotational locking bolts (Long and Short) are supplied. The longer ones are knurled and easy to turn by hand. The shorter options help to prevent marring of the camera casing, when using certain designs of camera and are also much less easy to turn by hand, increasing security if you need the camera locked in a particular rotational position for longer periods. The large inner dimension of this adaptor prevents vignetting at the edges of the image when using full frame DSLR cameras. Canon EOS-Bayonet fastener made of hardwearing brass, for years of hassle-free use. Increased material quality over conventional adapters provides more stability in use. 6 fixing bolts hold the camera in rotational position for increased sturdiness (standard rotators often only use 4, or less). FEATURES Screw tips with Delrin-tips prevent tilting of the camera and subsequent image distortion. Large inner diameter prevents vignetting. Inner blackening suppresses scattered light. Compatible with 60 mm accessories, when the camera adaptor is taken off. Two rotational bolt sets (Long and Short) are supplied. SCOPE OF DELIVERY 60DA Focal adaptor 6 long and 6 short fixing screws

Vixen SX2WL SD81SII Telescope Set
SX2WL SD81SII complete telescope set with mount, tripod and eyepieces. This high-quality apochromatic refractor telescope set impresses with its 81 mm SD optics. The telescope is manufactured in Japan and impresses with its excellent workmanship, sharpness and contrast performance. The advantage of this SD refractor is its short length and low weight. You will be amazed when you use it to observe the surface of the moon with its craters or Saturn with its ring system. On a good night, the two bright cloud bands and many smaller details, such as the large red spot on the planet, will also be visible on Jupiter. On moonless nights you can observe the Andromeda Nebula, Orion Nebula, Eagle Nebula, Lagoon Nebula and many other interesting objects. In addition, fainter celestial objects become visible with this aperture under a good sky. This telescope set "Made in Japan" simply leaves nothing to be desired. The FPL53 glass used in the telescope reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image thanks to an extraordinarily high elimination of residual colour errors. The SD glass is designed in such a way that it brings all rays - violet, red, blue, yellow and green - very precisely together on the same plane. The special lens material thus reduces chromatic aberration across all colours. The new Vixen SD81SII no longer uses spacer discs, which leads to significantly better image quality, especially with bright stars. Photographic images therefore no longer show spikes on the stars, which would otherwise be caused by the spacer discs. In combination with the optional SD Reducer HD Kit or SD Flattener HD (not included), this refractor telescope enables illumination with a 44 mm image circle for full-frame SLR cameras. The older ED81SII, ED103S, ED115S refractors were originally developed for visual observers and photographers with APS-C cameras. However, the new SD series is also optimised for use with full-frame cameras thanks to the use of new internal diaphragms. The large 60 mm focuser also allows heavy cameras to be attached without tilting. Furthermore, the supplied folding mirror allows comfortable observation even in unfavourable observation situations and also offers a T2 thread for connecting a DSLR camera. This allows you to observe in a degree view or at a 90° angle. The carrying handle attached to the tube clamps ensures a secure hold when transporting the telescope. The sturdy metal tripod enables the telescope and mount to be mounted without vibration, even in windy weather. The ultra-modern SX2WL mount is simply operated via a Wi-Fi module with your smartphone or tablet.By simply controlling the mount with your smartphone or tablet and using the free STAR BOOK Wireless app, you can easily use sky navigation functions such as automatic GoTo panning for many celestial objects. By eliminating the conventional LCD display (STAR BOOK TEN), the power consumption on the mount is reduced by up to 20%, thus enabling longer astronomical observation and astrophotography. When you touch the desired celestial object on the star chart, it is automatically pointed into the telescope's field of view and tracking begins.NOTE: An existing STAR BOOK TEN or ONE controller can also be used on this mount without any problems.Equipped with the same precision stepper motors as the top model, the AXD mount, the SX2WL brings a new standard of performance and precision to the Vixen mount family. With a photographic load capacity of 12 kg, the axis cross of the mount is just 7 kg light, making it ideal for mobile observations. In addition, the motors mounted in the lower part of the mount also serve as a counterweight and the mount therefore requires fewer weights for balancing. The SX2WL mount in detailPrecision stepper motors and micro-step motion control systemAt the heart of the SX2 are the precision stepper motors, which offer better performance and response than previous models. The micro-step motion control system scores with powerful yet very smooth drive characteristics, which are present in both fine movements and fast pans.Built-in bearingsThe bearings of the RA and DEC axes and the worm shafts have been significantly improved to reduce the load on the motors. As a result, the motors move much more smoothly than in previous models.High-precision worm gearsHigh-precision processing technologies eliminate worm gear errors. The running surfaces of the two worms and worm wheels are manufactured to be particularly smooth, enabling very precise tracking.Declination axis as counterweightThe massive motor units are installed in the lower part of the declination axis so that the center of gravity of the SX2WL is below the intersection point of the RA and DEC axes. This means you need fewer additional counterweights.Latitude adjustmentThe latitude is adjustable between 0 and 70 degrees (divided into 3 zones and adjustable in +/- 15 degrees per zone, for high, medium and low latitudes); latitude scale in 2-degree increments; fine adjustment with a tangent screw head, approx. 0.8 degrees per turn. The wireless module in detailThe Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. With the smartphone app "STAR BOOK Wireless" (free of charge) you can navigate the sky without any cables. The "STAR BOOK Wireless" smartphone app transforms your smartphone or tablet into a control unit for the equatorial mount in no time at all. The response delay of the mount, which is considered the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired connections.Reduced power consumption compared to conventional controllers with LCD monitorThe power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing longer observations than with conventionalwired controllers such as the STAR BOOK TEN.Operation similar to the STAR BOOK TEN control unitThe STAR BOOK Wireless app has a similar structure to the STAR BOOK TEN control system. Depending on the star map setting, it contains up to 259,000 celestial objects. Tap on a celestial object in the object list and start the GoTo.The mount will now automatically move to this target and bring it into the telescope's field of view. All the popular features of the STAR BOOK TEN are retainedConvenient operationWhen looking through the telescope operate the mount by swiping on the app's star chart. As there are no buttons, simply slide your finger over the star chart to operate the mount conveniently.Extensive astronomical data includedIn addition to data on easily observable celestial bodies such as Messier objects, NGC objects and IC objects, this also includes the sun, moon, planets, comets and dwarf planets.High-precision alignmentBy aligning the mount to one or two stars, you can already achieve fairly precise positioning of the mount. By aligning to three or more stars, you can achieve high-precision alignment of the mount for high magnifications. The objects are then approached precisely and centrally in the field of view of your telescope. The alignment information is saved and can be retained even when the device is switched off. By leaving the telescope in its current state after completing an observation without moving it, you can start the automatic installation with the same settings for the next observation.Individual setting optionsAs with the STAR BOOK TEN controller, the app offers various individual settings, such as gear backlash compensation, night mode in red, autoguider, variable GoTo speed and LED brightness. You can also set the timing of the reversal of the objective tube (meridian flip) as required.Even if the object moves to the south during tracking, you can prevent the telescope tube from reversing.Important information: Cannot be used on old SX mounts with the old blue star bookTechnical informationCPU with 32-bit CISC processor 120 MHzThe unit is connected to the mount via a D-SUB 9PIN connector as is the STAR BOOK TEN.It has a 6-pin, 6-wire modular connector for external autoguider operation.Supported operating systems are Android 6 or higher, iOS 9.0 or higher, WLAN standard: IEEE 802.11b/g/n・FEATURESTelescope SD81SIIObjective lenses: 81 mm, multicoated2-lens SD apochromat without spacer platesFocal length: 625 mm (f/7.7)No more spikes on the starsResolution and limiting magnitude: 1.43 arc seconds; 11.3Light gathering capacity: 134xDimensions and weight: (OD) 90 mm x (L) 585 mm; 3.6 kgXY Red Dot Finder IIAdapter and connections: 60 mm thread, 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm connection, T-ring threadSupplied accessories: Flip mirror with 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm connection, SLV20 mm and SLV 5.0 mm eyepiecesPhotography: primary focus and eyepiece projectionSturdy metal focuserSX2WL mountRA Gear rim: 180 teethDEC gear rim: 180 teethBearing: Carbon steel / Decl. 35 mm, RA 40 mm thicknessFine height adjustment: 0° to 70°, (fine adjustment +/- 15°, height)Counterweight rod: 20 mm diameterAzimuth adjustment: Fine worm adjustmentPower supply: DC12 V; 0.4~1.7 AMaximum load: 12 kg, photographic, without counterweightCounterweight: 1x 1.9 kgTripod connection: 45 mm spigotDimensions: 36 cm (H) x 12 cm (W) x 36 cm (L)Weight: 7 kg, without counterweight32-bit CISC processor 120 MHzOperating system: Android 6 or higher, iOS 9.0 or higherConnection: D-SUB 9PIN plugAutoguider input ST4Power consumption SXD2WL+Wireless unit: DC12V / 0.3-2.0 A (load 10 kg), 0.4-2.2 A (load 15 kg)SCOPE OF DELIVERYSX2WL mountWireless unitCounterweight: 1.9 kgMounting toolCigarette lighter cableSD81SII refracting telescopeFlip mirror2 eyepieces: SLV20mm and SLV5mmTube ringsDovetail mountXY Red Dot Finder IISXG aluminum tripod

BRESSER Messier 6'' Planetary Dobson Telescope
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible.  Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for. Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well. Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Please note that Newtonian reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. For nature and landscape observations we therefore recommend BRESSER lens telescopes.
