By releasing the clamping lever on the multiple assembly block, you can move the dovetail freely and clamp it again, making balancing of your camera or telescope rig an easy task. The hole in the middle of the multiple mounting block enables the photographer to carry out the polar alignment without removing the POLARIE polar finder PFL with the dovetail rail DD or the dovetail rail PG. Using one of these combinations, you can easily put deep sky photography into practice with a telephoto lens, or compact telescope.
