Product information "Vixen AP mount base"

The Vixen AP mount base is used to convert the AP and AP-SM mount to a full APZ altazimuth mount.

If you already own an AP or AP-SM mount, the parallactic mounts can be converted into an APZ mount with 8 kg load capacity in just a few steps. Thanks to the modular mounting system, any existing motor modules with controls can also be used.

The AP mount base has the same connection thread as your AP mount and can therefore be used on the same tripods.
