The A70Lf refractor is an ideal entry-level model for beginner astronomers. Thanks to Vixen’s quality controls, the 70 mm lenses are produced to an b>outstanding quality standard. The refractor comes with two Plössl eyepieces (6.3 mm and 20 mm) and a 90° star diagonal. The A70lf is ideal for exploring the b>moon and the brighter planets. On moonless nights you can observe the Andromeda Galaxy or Orion’s Belt. The 6x24 viewfinder makes locating celestial objects very quick and easy.
We recommend using this product with the MINI PORTA mount. The mount is lightweight and easy to use.

Vixen Mobile Porta Travel Mount

The MOBILE PORTA is a small transportable travel mount for fast observations and does not require time-consuming installation.
Thanks to the new compact and lightweight design, it is ready for use in no time and is easy to transport.
The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith - including with longer telescopes.
In addition to these new functions, the mount also comes with the other tried-and-tested features of the Porta series, such as a slip clutch and fine adjustment.
Easy to adjust
The telescope can be moved by hand in all directions and is held in position by a slip clutch. This allows you to adjust the telescope to your desired object with ease.
The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith - including with longer telescopes. The angle of the multi arm can be adjusted in 15-degree steps. The multi arm system also enables you to collapse the mount for easy transport and storage, e.g. in the Telescope and Tripod Bag 100 (item no. 35655).
Vixen dovetail standard mount
As with all Vixen mounts, the MOBILE PORTA mount uses the Vixen world standard dovetail adapter for the telescope connection. The MOBILE PORTA is recommended for telescopes with a maximum weight of 3.5 kg.
Accessory storage
The accessory holder features slots for your eyepieces. It can also be used to store smaller photography accessories.
