The Vixen flip mirror is an ingenious solution for viewing in a straight line or at a 90-degree angle.
The viewing angle can be changed by turning a wheel.
The main connection features a 50.8 mm barrel, which is then reduced to one of the two 31.7 mm receptacles. There is also a T2 thread for a DSLR camera when the 31.7 mm eyepiece is removed. This allows you to connect your camera directly to the telescope with an optional T2 ring.

Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Vixen 1.25”/ 31.7 mm Star Diagonal

This Vixen 90° mirrored Star Diagonal, with 1.25” / 31.7 mm nosepiece connection, makes observing objects higher up in the sky much more pleasant and also allows the user to revolve an eyepiece to a more comfortable observing position. This star diagonal is a good quality option and compatible with a large array of refractors and Cassegrain design instruments. It will accept 1.25” / 31.7mm eyepieces and accessories and also has a threaded nosepiece, into which can be fitted 1.25” filters, or Barlow elements, saving you the bother of having to keep swapping these when using different eyepieces. The inside of the diagonal is blackened to minimise internal reflections and light scatter and the body has a pleasingly well-engineered feel to it, without being too weighty. Eyepieces and other accessories are held in place by a simple-to-operate knurled set screw. As this is a mirrored diagonal, it also corrects the up/down orientation of image in astronomical refractors and Cassegrain telescopes, but please note that left and right will still be inverted within the field of view. Not suitable for use with Newtonian telescopes. The 3" Explore Scientific Diagonal Mirror is precision machined from aluminium and contains carbon fibre parts. The large diameter of 3"(76.2mm) is ideal for modern wide angle eyepieces, such as our 0218430 EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 100° Ar Eyepiece 30mm 3", which (thanks to the size of this diagonal) can be mounted in suitable instruments, without vignetting occurring. The dielectric coating delivers 99% reflectivity and is very durable against environmental influences. A reducer to 2"(50.8mm) is included. We offer adaptors for a wide variety of focusers. EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 1.25" UHC Nebula Filter

One of the most important obstacles for the exploration of the night sky is the brightening of the night sky by artificial lights, such as streetlights. The night sky is not really dark in the vicinity of towns or cities, which reduces the visibility of objects beyond the solar systems enormously. Depending on the type of the celestial object it is possible to increase the contrast dramatically by blocking the annoying artificial light. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC UHC filter uses a characteristic property of the so called emission nebulae. Those objects glow in special colours, their emission lines. Those emission lines are linked to chemical elements - in this case hydrogen at 486nm and 656nm, plus oxygen at 496nm and 501nm. The Explore Scientific UHC nebula filter blocks all other colours (and thereby nearly all of the artificial light) and only the emission line of the hydrogen and oxygen can pass the filter. The result is astonishing: suddenly nebulae are visible at locations that were completely empty without filters. In suburban skies for example the Owl-nebula M97, the Veil-nebula NGC6992 or even the bright Dumbell-nebula M27 are not clearly visible. By using this filter you can see the nebulae and their structures without problems. A must for every visual observer.
