How Temperature Measurement Helps Save Energy
Did you know? Lowering the room temperature by just 1 degree can save up to 6 percent of energy. It's worth paying close attention when heating. With the integrated thermometer in our weather stations and thermo-hygrometers, you can always keep an eye on the current room temperature – allowing you to adjust your heating habits to save energy. Has the temperature reached a level that's comfortable for you? Then the thermostat can be turned down a bit to maintain the room temperature and save money.
Practical everyday helpers: Some models also offer a high-low temperature alarm that alerts you with a sound when your individually set temperatures are reached. This projection weather station gives you accurate readings of indoor and outdoor temperatures as well as indoor humidity. The graphical weather forecast helps you plan your day with ease. Especially useful in winter: the frost warning that automatically flashes on the display when temperatures fall between -1 and 2.9 °C. And the time updates automatically via DCF signal – no hassle when the clocks go forward or back. However, for different time zones a manual setting option is also available.
Powerful sensor for reliable readings
The high-precision outdoor sensor monitors the temperature and sends the data to the base station – even from up to 80 metres away. And since the sensor has its own display, you can check the readings right where you are – ideal for the balcony or garden.
