BRESSER Messier 5" Dobson
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 5" dobsonian is simply a breakthrough. Despite of its low price this telescope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telescopes. Not only for beginners - also enthusiastic and experienced amateur astronomers love this high performance and compact telescope for traveling and to discover the night sky. The main goal of this telescope is the quick setup and the ease of use. Simply put the Messier 5" Dobson telescope on a table in your backyard, point the telescope to your target object and you are ready to start your observation. The Messier 5" Dobson is almost pre-assembled ex factory which means you can start within minutes. With the included standard accessories (LED-finder, 25mm and 9mm Kellner eyepieces and Moonfilter) the telescope is ready for observing. The inbuild compass and circular level speeds up the telescopes orientation. The optical diameter of 130mm (5") does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Finding and observing is much easier with that light gathering richfield telescope. Bresser also has equipped these dobsonians with a high quality main mirror which offers a very good sharpness and contrast. In addition, this telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror for ideal illumination of the image field. The optical tube can easily be moved inside the tube rings in order to find the optimal balance and observing position. This is another virtue of this highly versatile telescope system: Remove the optical tube from the dobsonian telescope mount and use the optics on a equatorial mount for astrophotography with smartphones und eyepiece cameras - in minutes. Bresser has not skimped and this telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror for ideal illumination of the field of view. The entire telescope tube can be moved and rotated in the tube clamps - everything is thus balanced in a flash and a comfortable position for viewing is set. A permanently installed compass with circular bubble facilitates the orientation of the telescope. This telescope is setting a new standard in usability, versatility and performance in its price class. Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing. FEATURES Optical design: reflector telescopeMirror diameter: 130mm / focal length: 650mm / F/5Maximum recommended magnification: 260xtelescope for night and solar observation 1,25" rack & pinion focuser primary mirror made from optical glass large 47mm secondary mirror many accessories included - ready to use pre-assembled ex-factory easy to move the tube optics can be attached to other mountings SCOPE OF DELIVERY newton reflector telescope aperture solar-filter dobsonion telescope mount  LED viewfinder (battery included) 25mm and 9mm Kellner eyepieces (Ø 31,7 mm / 1,25") moonfilter (Ø 31,7 mm / 1,25") 2 tube clamps with GP dovetail adapter instruction manual

BRESSER Messier 6'' Planetary Dobson Telescope
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible.  Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for. Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well. Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Please note that Newtonian reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. For nature and landscape observations we therefore recommend BRESSER lens telescopes. FEATURES Optical design: reflector telescopeMirror diameter: 150 mm / focal length: 1200 mm / F/8Maximum recommended magnification: 300xTelescope for night and solar observation High quality BRESSER Newton optics Ideal telescope for planets, moon, double stars and planetary nebulae Sun observation through the included sun filter possibleStable and smooth 2 inch 50.8mm Rack and Pinion focuser Main mirror made of special glass with low thermal expansion Easy to move metal tube for balancing Demountable rocker box with accessory tray Tube mounting on altitude wheels using tube clamps Use of the optics also on other mounts Different sized adjustment and counter screws on the mirror cell Viewing height at zenith: approx. 115cm (suitable for children and teenagers) Tube weight: 8.3 kg Basic weight: 7,8 kg Total weight: 16,1 kg Dimensions ready to use telescope: 45 x 45 x 128 cm Shipping dimensions 1 carton: 47x47x84cm, 18kg SCOPE OF DELIVERY Optical tube Dobson Telescope Mount (disassembled for self assembly) Aperture Solar Filter Optical 6x30 viewfinder 25mm SuperPlössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 inch') 1 Extension tube 25mm for 2 inch focuser 1 Eyepiece adapter diameter 31.7 to 50.8 mm 2 Tube clamps 2 Altitude wheels
