Product information "EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 2" S-II Nebula Filter 6.5nm"
One of the most important obstacles for the exploration of the night sky is the brightening of the night sky by artificial lighting, such as streetlights. The night sky is not really dark in the vicinity of towns or cities, which reduces the visibility of objects beyond the solar system enormously. Depending on the type of celestial object, it is possible to increase the contrast dramatically by blocking the interfering artificial light.

The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC S-II filter uses the property of the so-called emission nebulae. These objects glow in certain colors, the so-called emission lines. The emission lines are associated with certain chemical elements - in this case ionized sulfur. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC S-II nebula filter blocks all other colors (and thus almost all artificial light) and lets only the emission lines of ionized sulfur at 672 nm through. The effect is amazing: suddenly, nebulae become visible in places that appear completely empty without the filter. In slightly brightened skies, many planetary nebulae, emission nebulae and supernova remnants can be seen without any difficulties when using this filter. A must for every visual observer and for astrophotography.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC nebula filters come with an individual test report - so you can be sure to get high quality filters.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 2" CLS Nebula Filter
Besides air turbulence, the brightening of the night sky is the biggest obstacle to observing faint objects beyond the solar system. Street lamps and other artificial lighting mean that the sky in human settlements is no longer really black. This affects the contrast and thus the perception of deep-sky objects. Depending on the type of celestial object, however, part of disturbing artificial light can be filtered out, making it easier to observe fainter targets. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC CITY LIGHT SUPRESSION - or CLS - filter uses the fact that the artificial lighting is not evenly distributed over the entire spectrum. These colours - in the case of the EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC CLS nebula filter, above all the typical colours of mercury and high-pressure lamps, used in street lighting - are suppressed, but the emissions of deep-sky objects are allowed through. With a slightly brightened sky, some relatively bright deep-sky objects are practically invisible with a telescope, for example the large galaxy M101. Using this filter makes observation much easier. A must have for any visual amateur astronomer.  The CLS can also be used as a useful photographic filter - helping to improve the quality of your telescopic deep sky photos. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC nebula filters are delivered with an individual test report - so you can be sure of receiving high-quality filters.SPECIFICATIONS:eliminates disturbing light - e.g. from street lightingenables observation of faint deep sky objectsWHAT'S INCLUDED:1x nebula filter

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 2" UHC Nebula Filter
One of the most important obstacles for the exploration of the night sky is the brightening of the night sky by artificial lights, such as streetlights. The night sky is not really dark in the vicinity of towns or cities, which reduces the visibility of objects beyond the solar system enormously. Depending on the type of the celestial object, it is possible to dramatically increase the contrast by blocking annoying artificial light. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC UHC filter "zeros in" on the wavelengths of so-called emission nebulae. Those objects glow in special colours - their emission lines. Those emission lines are linked to chemical elements - in this case hydrogen at 486nm and 656nm, plus oxygen at 496nm and 501nm. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC UHC nebula filter blocks all other colour wavelengths (and thereby nearly all of artificial light) and only the emission line of the hydrogen and oxygen can pass the filter. The result is astonishing: suddenly nebulae are visible at locations that were completely invisible from, without filters. In suburban skies, for example the Owl-nebula M97, the Veil-nebula NGC 6992 or even the bright Dumbell-nebula M27 are not clearly visible. Using this filter allows you to see nebulae and their structures in much finer detail. A must for every visual observer. EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 2" Variable Polarizing Filter
Universally usable variable polarizing filter with a  2" filter thread. This variable polarizing filter allows for a continuous adjustment of the image brightness. This is very helpful to level strong differences in contrast of different observation objects individually. Particularly for lunar and planetary observations but also for solar observations this filter prevents an outshining of details.Solar observations ONLY together with an adequate solar filter !!! Particularly when a Herschel wedge is used and with large objective lens apertures the use of the variable polarizing filter can reduce the brightness of the observation object to a confortable level. The large adjustment range of 40% to 1% light transmission and the neutral grey filter effect create a comfortable and unadulterated image. The handling is very simple. The desired filtering level is set by turning the two sides of the housing against each other.A 2.0" filter thread on both sides (female/male) allow for the simultaneous use of additional colour filters.FEATURESvariable polarizing filterindividually adjustable image brightnessmade from high-quality optical glassblack anodized aluminium housing2.0" filter thread on both sidesSCOPE OF DELIVERYpolarizing filterprotective box

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 2" H-Alpha Nebula Filter 7nm
Apart from air turbulence, the brightening of the night sky is the greatest barrier to observing faint objects beyond the solar system. Due to streetlamps and other artificial lighting the sky in urban areas is no longer properly black. As a result, the contrast and thus the perception of deep-sky objects also suffer. However, depending on the type of celestial object, it is possible to filter out some of the interfering light, making it easier to photograph the objects. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC H-Alpha filter uses the characteristic of the so-called emission nebulae. These objects glow in certain colors, the so-called emission lines. The emission lines are associated with certain chemical elements - in this case the red glowing hydrogen. This filter blocks all other colors (and therefore almost all artificial light) and lets only the emission lines of hydrogen through. Especially the interfering light of mercury and sodium vapor lamps is effectively blocked. The effect is amazing: Suddenly, nebulae become visible on photos in locations which appear completely empty without the filter. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC H-Alpha Nebula Filter has been developed exclusively for astrophotography. Especially in heavy light-polluted skies many emission nebulae only become visible and are shown in full expanse on astrophotos when using this filter. The H-Alpha nebula filters make astrophotography near the city possible and the use leads to amazingly good image results despite the existing light pollution. A must for every urban astrophotographer. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC nebula filters are delivered with an individual test report - so you can be sure to get high quality filters. This filter's narrow passband of only 7 nm bandwidth works out the faint emission nebulae or makes them visible even under difficult urban conditions. BRESSER Messier 10" Dobson
NEW - now including a high-quality lens solar filter for the safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 10 "Dobsonian is something very special. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality that are sometimes unavailable in considerably more expensive telescopes. With its 254 mm diameter optics, this telescope is not limited to solar system observation of the Moon and brighter planets - you can also observe far out into the universe and see globular clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Details become visible in most deep-sky objects: globular clusters are broken down into individual stars and nebulae, which are only hinted at in smaller scopes, show considerable structure. This Dobsonian is unsurpassed in versatility within its price range: the excellent, large Hexafoc focuser has an opening of 65 mm - so even with large wide-field eyepieces, there is no noticeable vignetting from the eyepiece extension tube. The large elevation wheels also hold the telescope level with just the right amount of "sticktion", even when heavier eyepieces are used. And when a lot of heavier accessories are attached, such as the Bresser Binoviewer attachment, then the entire telescope tube can be moved within the tube rings - and everything is balanced again in a flash. The unsurpassed rigidity of the focuser makes it easy to focus - photography with this OTA is no problem either as the supplied extension tube for the focuser can be removed and a camera easily bought to a prime focus position. This is another strength of this universal telescope: if you want to take photos, you can simply unscrew the elevation wheels from the tube and place it on an equatorial mount with a standard dovetail rail - other rival Dobsonians do not offer this level of flexibility or pathway to more expansive astrophotography use. An optional dual speed 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for those who need extra fine control of focus. If you consider that the focuser is the telescope part that is used most often, the supply of the Hexafoc on this telescope is a quantum leap for this price range. With the initial equipment you can observe immediately - a 6x30 viewfinder and a 25mm SPL eyepiece are included within the package.  If you want to transport the device as compactly as possible, it is easy with the new 10 "BRESSER Messier - the rocker box can be dismantled in a few simple steps, as the parts are assembled with metal quick-release connectors. A bulky rocker box quickly becomes a handy flat package of boards within a few minutes. This is a telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use set new standards in this price range. Please note that while Newtonian type reflecting telescopes are very good for astronomical observations in the night sky, they not well-suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. We therefore recommend BRESSER refracting or Cassegrain designs of telescopes for additional nature and landscape observations.PROPERTIESType: mirror telescopeMirror diameter: 254mm / focal length: 1270mm / F / 5Maximum useful magnification: 508 timesTelescope for night and solar observation2.5" HEXAFOC focuserMain mirror made of special glass, with low thermal expansionHassle-free focusing, even with heavy accessoriesEasy to move tubeDismountable rocker boxTube mounting on altitude bikes using clampsUse of the optics on other mounts as wellAdjustment and construction screws of different sizesBase diameter 54cmWhat's IncludedTube with Newtonian opticsFull aperture Solar filter6x30 viewfinder25mm Super Plössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 ")1 extension tube 37.5mm for 2.5 " Hexafoc1 eyepiece adapter 1.25" to 2"/31.7 to 50.8 mm2 Tube Rings2 Altitude support wheelsRocker box with 2 base plates and mounting material (disassembled for self-assembly)Shipping dimensions Box1: 134x44x44cm - 19.0kgShipping dimensions Box2: 61x61x24cm - 17.0kg

Finally, an easy-to-use camera for capturing galaxies, star clusters, the moon and even planets with high resolution and low sensor noise. Thanks to the fast USB 3.0 computer interface, all image data is transferred within a few seconds. Long waiting times are now history. Simply connect the camera to your telescope using the T2 female thread (M42.0.75mm) or the supplied 2" (50.8mm) plug-in adapter and after installing the drivers and the included EXPLORE Capture recording and editing software, you are ready to take the first real astro photos with a highly specialized camera for your application.  The EXPLORE Capture Pro software included in delivery not only offers the basic functions required for image and video capture, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and camera setup. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image print, stacking, timelapse recording and much more can be configured individually. Especially the very sophisticated software makes your entry into astrophotography really easy. With the automatic settings you can produce absolutely presentable results without any previous knowledge. If you like, simply switch off the automatic settings and gradually dare to adjust the individual professional settings. The new EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC DEEP SKY camera has a highly sensitive and very low-noise Panasonic CMOS sensor which is additionally cooled down to 40°C below ambient temperature by the two-stage thermoelectric cooling. In contrast to normal DSLR cameras, this guarantees much lower noise and fewer hot pixels in your shots. The images are not only much sharper and more brilliant, but also contain more usable image information. Through the controlled setting of the desired camera temperature, the creation of dark frames under reproducible shooting conditions is possible at any time. The large-format CMOS sensor with 21.9mm diagonal also allows large image fields and simplifies the adjustment and centering of objects considerably. The camera has a built-in USB hub with 2 x USB2.0 ports at the rear. Connect your additional autoguider camera or motor focus etc. via a short USB cable and reduce the risk of cable spaghetti and cable breaks. Separate cable connections between your accessories and your computer are no longer necessary. A sturdy hard case for the camera plus accessories is also included. IMPORTANT NOTES: Don't get confused by the megapixel data and the contrary price structure. In the field of astronomy, the key criterion is not the sensor resolution but the maximum light sensitivity. The main goal is to capture as much light as possible in a short time.DOWNLOAD latest camera software and drivers see download folder "Manuals" or here: http://www.touptek.com/download/showdownload.php?lang=en&id=2 Sample photos made by Lóránd Fényes in Hungary: https://fenyeslorand.hu/asztrofotok/Field of view for different focal lengths in arc minutes and degrees: 400 mm - 151´x 114´ (2.5 x 1.9 degrees) 500 mm - 121´x 91´ (2.0 x 1.5 degrees) 600 mm - 101´x 76´ (1.7 x 1.3 degrees) 700 mm - 86´x 65´ (1.4 x 1.1 degrees) 800 mm - 76´x 57´ (1.3 x 0.9 degrees) 900 mm - 67´x 51´ (1.1 x 1.9 degrees) 1000 mm - 61´x 46´ (1.0 x 0.8 degrees) 1250 mm - 48´x 37´ (0.8 x 0.6 degrees) 1500 mm - 40´x 30´ (0.7 x 0.5 degrees) 1750 mm - 35´x 26´ (0.6 x 0.4 degrees) 2000 mm - 30´x 23´ (0.5 x 0.4 degrees) FEATUREScamera type: ASTRO Camera 16.0MP ATR3CMOS16000KPA data output: single pictures and video image Sensor: Panasonic NM34230PLI CMOS Color Sensor adjustable resolution: 4648x3506 / 2304x1750 / 1536x1168 adjustable binning: 1x1 / 2x2 / 3x3 frame rate per second (FBS): 22.5 / 43 / 48 physical sensor size in pixels: 4648 x 3506 megapixel: 16 MP sensor size: 17.6 x 13.3 mm (4/3 inch) pixel size: 3.8 µm x 3.8 µm bit depth: 12 Bit backfocus: 17,5 mm  shutter Type: rolling shutterinternal camera memory: DDR 3 RAMthermoelectric cooling with fan: yes, up to 40°C below ambient temperature adjustable exposure times: 150µs to 60min operating temperature: -10 to +50°C (30-80% RLH) cable length USB 3.0: 150cm DC cable length power supply: 200cm CNC machined aluminium housing camera diameter: 80mm; length: 102mm camera weight: 0,53 kg camera connection diameter: 2.0 inch ( 50.8mm) camera connection thread: T2 (M42x0,75mm) filter thread: Yes, 2.0 inch in receptacle camera connection to PC: USB 3.0 built-in USB hub with 2 x USB 2.0 ports power supply: Power supply 12 Volt 3,0 Ampere included software: EXPLORE Capture included camera driver and ASCOM driver includedoperating system: WINDOWS 10 + 11 PC requirements: CPU Intel Core2 2.8Ghz or higher / 2 GB Ram / USB 3.0 SCOPE OF DELIVERYDEEP SKY ASTRO Camera 16.0MP telescope adapter T2 thread to 2.0" (50,8mm) USB 3.0 connection cable 150cm power supply 230V/12V3,0A dust cap software CD hard case instruction manual
