The microscope in detail
The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that operates with a C-Mount camera (not included). Thus, direct viewing on a screen is possible. Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is particularly advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x to 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus makes it easier to sharpen, especially at high magnifications.
Due to the convenient and user-friendly operation, the digital microscope is particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality controls of surfaces, or checking components and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also impressively displayed.
The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation, as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in conjunction with a MikroCam C-Mount.
It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2".
With the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.
The transmitted light illumination helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five levels.
The magnification of a USB camera differs from the objective magnification. Therefore, a total magnification of the digital system cannot be specified. It depends on the sensor size and the display on a monitor.

The microscope camera in detail
The BRESSER MikroCam II cameras allow for easy capturing of photos and videos with a microscope.
The modern Sony® CMOS sensors deliver brilliant colors with very low image noise and are thus the perfect solution for applications where natural color reproduction is important. The included capture software allows for numerous settings when capturing still images and videos. An integrated measurement function* allows for measurement already in the live image. The software included supports the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Turkish, Chinese.
The housing features a C-Mount connection thread. For use on devices with a 23.2mm mount, an optional variable reduction lens 0.5x (Art. No. 5914005) is available. For special applications, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4'' tripod thread.
The BRESSER MikroCamII is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection compared to the MikroCam SP, allowing for up to 8x higher data rates than with USB 2.0 connections. The cameras are thus capable of transmitting more than 25 images per second (depending on resolution, exposure time, and computer performance). This is particularly important for live microorganisms. The camera is exceptionally light-sensitive, allowing for work with short exposure times even at high magnifications or demanding contrast methods.
