BRESSER Zoom Optics DST-0745 with MikroCam SF 5.0 MP camera

Product information "BRESSER Zoom Optics DST-0745 with MikroCam SF 5.0 MP camera"

High-quality combination set for precise analyses. This powerful set combines the professional digital microscope DST-0745 with the modern MicroCam SF5MP camera. The perfectly coordinated unit is ideal for precise observations, high-resolution live displays, and reliable visual documentation of your results.

The Microscope in Detail

The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that operates with a C-Mount camera (not included).
Thus, direct viewing on a screen is possible. Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is especially advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x to 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus makes it easier to sharpen, especially at high magnifications.

Due to the convenient and user-friendly operation, the digital microscope is particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality controls of surfaces, or checking components and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also impressively displayed.

The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation, as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in conjunction with a MicroCam C-Mount.
It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2".

With the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.
The transmitted light illumination helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five levels.

The magnification of a USB camera differs from the objective magnification. Therefore, a total magnification of the digital system cannot be specified. It depends on the sensor size and the display on a monitor.

The Microscope Camera in Detail

The BRESSER MicroCam SF cameras are excellent for capturing photos and videos with a microscope. This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MicroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with a smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, color reproduction, and dynamics.

The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.

The MicroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. The essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.

Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharply focused images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MicroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time.

The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles, or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you in measuring circles with area and radius or even complex polygons.
Measurements can be performed in the captured image or in the live image. The MicroCamLabII software also has extensive algorithms for automated image evaluation, e.g., for particle counting or area evaluation.

The housing has a C-Mount connection thread and can therefore be used on microscopes from various manufacturers. We are happy to advise you on which MicroCam is optimally suited for your microscope.

For use on devices with a 23.2 mm receptacle, an optional reducing optic 0.5x (Art. No. 5914015 (fixed), Art. No. 5914005 (variable)) is available. For special applications, e.g., with a C-Mount objective, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.

*A suitable measuring tool is required for calibrating the measurement function, e.g.: Art. No. 5916710 or 5916720.

A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in education. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is required. Through lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, in quality control or production, needs to be digitized. To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and the mouse pointer are then not visible. Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.FEATURES OF THE MICROSCOPE CAMERAHDMI connection for direct connection to a monitor, TV, projector, or smartboardC-Mount thread for easy adaptability to various microscopes (manufacturer-independent)Compatible with USB sticks or SD card readers (max. storage size: 512 GB)No PC/laptop necessarySCOPE OF DELIVERY OF THE MICROSCOPE CAMERAMikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI with C-Mount connectionPower supply (12 V / 2A)USB mouseHDMI cable (approx. 1.5 m)The display in detailThe Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMIThe display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and view the image simultaneously on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! This allows multiple people to view the image without loss of quality. The image from the microscope camera is always displayed on the HDMI screen without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. The display via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out. Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters. Digital viewing can provide relief here. The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so cable clutter at the workplace is avoided. The mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done with two screws. Screws and tools are included.FEATURES OF THE DISPLAY16:9 Full HD monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixelsActive area: 16.5 x 29.4 cmEasy mounting directly on a MikroCam PRO or MINILarge viewing angle (178°)No separate power supply neededSCOPE OF DELIVERY13.3" displayHDMI cableY-cable for power supply via camera power supplyMounting screws (2 pieces)Hex keyUser manual
