The Microscope in Detail

The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that operates with a C-Mount camera (not included).
Thus, direct viewing on a screen is possible. Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is especially advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x to 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus makes focusing easier, especially at high magnifications.

Due to the convenient and user-friendly operation, the digital microscope is particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality controls of surfaces, or checking components and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also impressively displayed.

The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation, as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in conjunction with a MikroCam C-Mount.
It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2".

With the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.
The transmitted light illumination helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five levels.

The magnification of a USB camera differs from the objective magnification. Therefore, a total magnification of the digital system cannot be specified. It depends on the sensor size and the display on a monitor.

The Microscope Camera in Detail

The BRESSER MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus impresses with its excellent image quality while being user-friendly. It delivers the microscope image live and without delay as an HDMI signal with Full HD resolution to a monitor or TV. An optional 11'' HDMI monitor (Art. No. 5914110) can be directly mounted on the camera and provides brilliant and high-contrast images. Due to its very high light sensitivity, good image quality is ensured even in low light. Thus, this model is especially recommended for dark field or phase contrast.

The autofocus allows optimal focusing of the camera without using the microscope's focusing wheels. This ensures parfocality on various trinocular microscopes. The focusable range extends from the 0 position, which corresponds to the C-Mount distance, over a focus of max. 5.4 mm forward, thus also reaching the CS-Mount distance and additionally up to 10.6 mm inward to cover an even larger area. In addition to autofocus, the camera can also be manually focused via mouse. A focus adjustment to a specific area is also possible.

The operation of the camera functions is done via mouse directly on the screen menu. Through the screen menu, measurements can be performed, making your microscope with the MikroCam Pro HDMI Autofocus a fully-fledged digital measuring microscope.

If the camera is connected via HDMI, images and videos can be recorded directly on an SD card (not included). However, a connection to the PC via USB is no longer provided for this model.
