The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a very compact HDMI camera. No PC or laptop is needed to use it, simply connect to a monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. This makes the camera especially suited for teaching. As a plus, you can also mount the BRESSER HDMI display (item no. 5914120) directly on the camera. Connection via HDMI is easy and the camera is ready to go instantly. No software installation, PC setup etc. is necessary. The lossless data transfer ensures a good image quality and the image is lag free and with a constant high framerate of 60fps. This is especially helpful when digitizing a microscope workplace in QC or production With the included mouse, you can control the camera via 3 distinctive on screen menus (camera control, settings, measurements). To calibrate measurements, please add a calibration slide (e.g. item no. 5916720). The camera is well suited for presentations, lectures etc. because upon startup it is working directly in auto mode with no user input. The camera does not have a start button, it is working directly after power up. Menus and mouse icon are not visible if the mouse is not connected. This camera is very good for astrophotography with short exposure times, i.e. for celestial objects like the moon, planets or star clusters. For astrophotography with long exposure times for low light deep sky objects, like galaxies and gas nebulae, we recommend the BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera (Art. No. 4959050) instead, with it's even higher resolution and sensor sensitivity. Equipped with the new high-sensitivity SONY IMX225 CMOS colour sensor, the BRESSER HD moon and planet camera delivers amazing image results with very short exposure times, even with simple telescope equipment. In addition, this ultra-modern camera can also be used as an autoguider, e.g. to actively track the main imaging device with SLR or CCD astro camera. A universal CMOS colour camera that delivers super-sharp lunar and planetary images in particular.
