Microscope slides with a micrometer scale are used for the calibration for measurements.They are used in combination with a micrometer eyepiece or a measurement software (for cameras) in order to measure preparations. The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.

The BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI delivers excellent image quality with ease of use. The microscopic image is transferred in Full HD resolution and without delay to a HDMI monitor or TV screen. An optional 11'' HDMI screen is available under item code 5914110 and can be mounted on the camera directly. It gives brilliant images with high contrast. Microscope images and video can now be stored on a SD card with high resolution (up to 5 MP). The Sony Sensor gives excellent image quality. The camera can be controlled with the included USB mouse directly through the on screen display. The on screen functionality now includes a measuring function as well, so the MikroCam Pro HDMI 5MP upgrades your existing trinokular microscope to a fully equipped digital measuring microscope. With the WiFi module, the camera can also supply the images in a wireless network. Due to this, a permanent connection to a PC via USB is not provided. But the professional software MikroCamLabII is still included with the camera for further image analysis after transferring the stored on SD card. The BRESSER Science ETD-201 is a high-quality stereo reflected-light and transmitted-light microscope. It is perfectly qualified for medical applications, the use in agriculture and forestry, in criminology, in academic and scientific institutes and schools, as well as for the assembly and quality assurance of components in precision mechanics and electronic engineering. The extra wide foot with stage and exceptionally tall height range permit observations of large objects. The integrated reflected- and transmitted-light illumination can be used in combination and is dimmable. The angle of incidence can be user-friendly adjusted and locked in position. A continuous range of magnification from 8x to 50x is possible with the exchangeable wide field eyepieces (WF 10x) and the 6.25-times stereo zoom objective lens (0,8x-5x).The interpupillary distance and dioptre compensation can be adjusted individually. This Full HD eyepiece camera lets you capture photos and videos directly through your microscope. The MikrOkular LF fits either in place of an eyepiece or into the microscope’s third tube. With the included adapter rings, it can be used with almost any microscope as an eyepiece replacement. If your microscope has a built-in C-mount camera connection, you’ll need the Microscope Photo Adapter 30.5mm / C-Mount (Article No.: 5942030). The downloadable Windows software is user-friendly, making it ideal even for beginners. Along with image and video capture, it also includes a measurement function. Whether for hobbies, school, studies, or professional use, it’s a great tool for documentation. Compared to the MikrOkular Full HD, the integrated reduction optics provide around seven times the image field area. In some applications, it is desirable to increase the magnification by an additional 50x. With this 2x lens, you can use the Science ETD-201 at magnifications of 16 to 100x.. The working distance is reduced slightly. However, the depth of field is higher at the resulting magnification than when the magnification is increased by simply using another pair of eyepieces. A conversion lens is therefore the accessory of choice for magnifications greater than 50x.
