FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

This BRESSER Weather Station ClimaTemp TB has a clearly arranged colour display, which is divided into 4 areas.
On the right side the measured values for inside and outside are displayed. So you always have temperature and humidity in view.
The weather forecast for the next 12 hours is calculated by the measured values and is displayed graphically in the upper left corner. Six different kind of weather conditions can be displayed.
Of course the current time, which is transmitted by DCF radio signal, the date, the day of the week and phase of the moon are also displayed. Furthermore, you can set two alarm times and activate the snooze after the alarm rings by pressing the button.
The weather station can be powered by batteries or with the included AC/DC adapter. While using batteries, the backlight can be activated by the snooze button for 7 seconds.

If the default setting is different to your ideal indoor climate, you can configure your own limit up to a maximum of 5000 ppm. The alarm function can then be activated with a simple button press. If the preset limit is exceeded, the alarm will sound at a varying intensity depending on the CO2 concentration. The display will also show a flashing arrow symbol to remind you to open the windows. Humidity is also an important factor, as high humidity levels can cause mould to form. You can also set your own visual alarm for this reading so that you will know whether the air in the room is too dry or too moist. If you want to see more than just the current readings, there is also a practical memory function that displays the maximum and minimum values for the last 24 hours as well as the average values from the last 15 minutes and 8 hours for carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity. The BRESSER MeteoTemp BF colour weather station gives you a complete overview of all local weather data as well as indoor temperature and humidity readings. It features a weather forecast function, which displays weather symbols and upcoming trends to help you plan ahead. Temperature and humidity readings are taken by the built-in thermo-hygro sensor on the base station, as well as by the external wireless sensor. The base station features an intuitive touchscreen that gives you quick access to the alarm function, max/min display and other settings.

The weather station also comes with a wireless sensor, which can be placed in your garden or on your balcony to measure the outdoor temperature and humidity. Based on these readings, the weather station automatically calculates the heat index and dew point.
The outdoor sensor can also be used indoors to monitor the indoor temperature and humidity in an additional room. The onscreen comfort indicator gives you an indication of how comfortable the indoor conditions are based on the humidity readings, and also displays the risk of mould (high, medium, low or none). The small-sized multifunctional outdoor sensor is very place-saving and can be placed almost everywhere. A pipe clamp and screws to mount it to a pole (tube diameter about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably the measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation amount to the main station. On the clearly structured display of the main station not only current values but also numerous of historical data can be displayed. This allows for the internal saving and evaluation of the measured values over a period of 24 hours. From the collected data the weather station determines a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is displayed on the screen by 6 graphical symbols.
