This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with a smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, colour reproduction, and dynamics.The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. The essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharp images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MikroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time.The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles, or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you in measuring circles with area and radius or even complex polygons.Measurements can be performed in the captured image or in the live image. The MikroCamLabII software also features extensive algorithms for automated image analysis, e.g., for particle counting or area evaluation.The housing features a C-Mount connection thread and can therefore be used with microscopes from various manufacturers. It features infinity-corrected planachromatic objectives with excellent image quality. Thanks to the contemporary optical design, you have great flexibility when connecting accessories such as cameras, etc.The WF 10x eyepieces have a large field of view of 22 mm and are also ideal for glasses wearers. For protection, the eyepieces are equipped with a rubberized surface. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from approximately 55 mm to about 75 mm. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in the classroom. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, needs to be digitized in quality control or production.To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that.
