BRESSER Trinocular Microscope Science TFM-301 with MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI camera

Product information "BRESSER Trinocular Microscope Science TFM-301 with MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI camera"

Powerful combination set consisting of the Science TFM-301 Trino Microscope and the MikroCam Mini HDMI camera – ideal for school, hobby, and profession. This set combines the solid Science TFM-301 microscope with the MikroCam Mini HDMI to document observations directly on a monitor.

The microscope in detail

The NEW BRESSER Science TFM-301 microscope is equipped with semi-plan objectives.

The binocular view allows for comfortable observation. The trinocular port offers the possibility to connect a C-Mount camera.

The WF 10x eyepieces have a field of view of 20 mm and therefore provide a large field of view.
The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from approx. 55 mm to approx. 75 mm. A diopter adjustment is possible with both eyepieces.

The powerful and durable LED illumination is adjustable.

The Köhler illumination can be adjusted with the fixed built-in field diaphragm and the height-adjustable and centring Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm). The condenser also features a printout of the various magnifications, allowing for quick and precise adjustment of the iris diaphragm.

The coaxial drives of the stage adjustment and coarse and fine focusing enable ergonomic working.

The trinocular port allows for the direct connection of a C-Mount camera or MikroCam.

The microscope camera in detail

The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a particularly compact HDMI camera. A PC or laptop is not required for operating the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in the classroom. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).

The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is required. Due to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always at a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and lag-free. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, in quality control or production, needs to be digitized.

To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).
*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).
The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as the camera operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.

Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.

This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with a smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, colour reproduction, and dynamics. The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish. The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. The essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharp images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MikroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time. The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles, or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you in measuring circles with area and radius or even complex polygons.Measurements can be performed in the captured image or in the live image. The MikroCamLabII software also features extensive algorithms for automated image analysis, e.g., for particle counting or area evaluation. The housing features a C-Mount connection thread and can therefore be used with microscopes from various manufacturers. We are happy to advise you on which MikroCam is optimally suited for your microscope. For use on devices with a 23.2 mm receptacle, an optional 0.5x reducing optics (Art. No. 5914015 (fixed), Art. No. 5914005 (variable)) is available. For special applications, e.g., with a C-Mount objective, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.*A suitable measuring tool is required for calibrating the measurement function, e.g.: Art.
