The microscope in detail

The NEW BRESSER Science TFM-301 microscope is equipped with semi-plan objectives.

The binocular view allows for comfortable observation. The trinocular port offers the possibility to connect a C-Mount camera.

The WF 10x eyepieces have a field of view of 20 mm and therefore provide a large field of view.
The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from approximately 55 mm to approximately 75 mm. A diopter adjustment is possible with both eyepieces.

The powerful and durable LED illumination is adjustable.

The Köhler illumination can be adjusted with the fixed built-in field diaphragm and the height-adjustable and centering Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm). The condenser also features a printout of the various magnifications, allowing for quick and precise adjustment of the iris diaphragm.

The coaxial drives of the stage adjustment and the coarse and fine focusing enable ergonomic working.

The trinocular port allows for the direct connection of a C-Mount camera or MicroCam.

The microscope camera in detail

The MicroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a particularly compact HDMI camera. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MicroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in the classroom. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).

The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Due to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, in quality control or production, needs to be digitized.

To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).
*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).
The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and the mouse pointer are then not visible.

Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.

The display in detail

The Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MicroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMI
The display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MicroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows for observation independently of a PC.

The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and view the image simultaneously on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! This allows multiple people to view the image without loss of quality.

The image from the microscope camera is displayed on the HDMI screen always without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. The representation via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work is to be carried out under microscopic control.

Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters. Digital viewing can provide relief here.

The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so cable clutter at the workplace is avoided.
The mounting on a MicroCam PRO or MINI is done using two screws. Screws and tools are included.
