FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The new BRESSER Thermo Hygro Quadro NLX offers, as with our ClimaTrend Hygro Quadro (Art.-No.: 7000020000000) the possibility to measure temperature and humidity at 4 different measuring points simultaneously. In addition, the weather trend, time and date are shown on the clearly arranged colour display.
The three remote sensors deliver the data to the receiving station via 433 Mhz radio frequency, at the same time the receiving station also measures temperature and humidity and thus delivers 4 measurement results.

The BRESSER MeteoTemp BF colour weather station gives you a complete overview of all local weather data as well as indoor temperature and humidity readings. It features a weather forecast function, which displays weather symbols and upcoming trends to help you plan ahead. Temperature and humidity readings are taken by the built-in thermo-hygro sensor on the base station, as well as by the external wireless sensor. The base station features an intuitive touchscreen that gives you quick access to the alarm function, max/min display and other settings.
Feature-packed weather station with external sensor
The weather station also comes with a wireless sensor, which can be placed in your garden or on your balcony to measure the outdoor temperature and humidity. Based on these readings, the weather station automatically calculates the heat index and dew point.

The weather station comes with an outdoor sensor, which takes precise measurements of the temperature and humidity outside your home. The sensor transmits the readings to the base station at a range of up to 80 metres, where they are displayed on the built-in screen together with the recent trend. You can also view the current readings on the sensor’s built-in display – perfect when you’re out on the terrace or balcony.
Built-in heat and frost alarm
The weather station also features a temperature alarm, which plays an acoustic signal when the outdoor temperature reaches your preset maximum or minimum value. And on cold winter days, the frost alarm will display a flashing symbol on the base station when the temperature is between -1 and -2.9 °C.
Monitor the indoor temperature and humidity
Dry and humid air can also be a problem indoors – maintaining a comfortable indoor climate is essential to our health and well-being. In addition to displaying the data from the outdoor sensor, the base station also measures the indoor temperature and humidity and indicates the comfort level via an onscreen comfort indicator. The comfort indicator can also be used for displaying the data from the outdoor sensor – for example if you want to monitor the indoor climate in other rooms using an additional thermo-hygro sensor (supports up to two additional sensors, see BRESSER accessories for compatibility). In addition, the base station also displays an alarm symbol where there is a risk of mould, and features a max./min. memory function that gives you a precise overview of the highest and lowest readings.

The BRESSER ClimateTemp NBF weather station is ideal for use in bedrooms. In addition to two alarm clocks that can be configured for different days of the week, it also features a snooze function with an adjustable snooze time, as well as a backlight with 5 different brightness settings and a night mode that can be configured to switch on and off at specific times. What’s more, the weather station sets the time automatically via a DCF signal so that you don’t have to reset the time manually when the clocks change.

The base station can be placed at a distance of up to 80 metres from the wireless outdoor sensor, and displays the outdoor temperature on the built-in screen. When you’re outdoors, you can also view the current temperature on the outdoor sensor’s built-in display.
Monitor the indoor temperature
Thanks to the built-in thermo sensor, the Meteo Temp W weather station also displays the precise indoor temperature to help you maintain a comfortable indoor climate in your living room or study. You can also use the temperature display to help you save energy in the winter: lowering the temperature by 1 degree reduces energy consumption by up to 6%.
Weather forecast function with short-term trend indicator
Sunny, (partly) cloudy, (heavy) rain or snow – the weather station uses six intuitive symbols to display the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours, while the trend arrow shows you the trend for the next few minutes.
Practical frost warning function for cold winter days
The BRESSER weather station also keeps you informed about wintry weather conditions: a snowflake symbols appears on the display when the outdoor temperature falls below 3 °C to warn you about the potential for frosty conditions.
Automatic date and time setting (DCF)
The Meteo Temp W weather station features a date and time display that receives the time automatically from a DCF radio signal (CET time). You can also set the date and time manually to enable use in other time zones.
