Product information "BRESSER Stereo Microscope Science ETD-301 7-63x Trinocular Zoom with MikroCamII 12MP USB 3.0 Microscope Camera"

Professional combo set for precise analyses and razor-sharp image transmission: This powerful set combines the high-quality Science ETD-301 stereo microscope with the modern MikroCamII 12MP camera and the matching adapter into an optimally coordinated unit. Ideal for detailed observations, high-resolution live displays, and reliable visual documentation of your work results.

The microscope in detail

The BRESSER Science ETD-301 is a reflected and transmitted light stereo magnifier with high-quality optics.
It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture and forestry, criminology, scientific research institutes and schools, as well as for assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.
The particularly wide base with object table allows viewing of larger objects. The maximum object height is approx. 85 mm. The large working distance of 100 mm enables working with tools, e.g. for preparing or dissecting, measuring or testing.

The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each continuously adjusted. The reflected light incidence angle is particularly user-friendly adjustable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 9x stereo zoom objective (0.7x - 6.3x), a continuous magnification range of 7x to 63x is realised.
The coarse and fine focusing allows precise sharpness adjustment, especially at high magnifications and for photography.

The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45°.
The trinocular tube can carry a SLR / system camera (APS-C or DX format) or a C-mount camera (sensor size up to 1'') using an optional adapter. A switch diverts the light path from one eyepiece to the camera. This provides 50% light, more than a microscope with a permanent beam splitter.

To connect an SLR / system camera, the adapter with item no. 5942100 and a camera-specific T2 ring are required.
A C-mount camera is connected with the adapter item no. 5942101.

The microscope camera in detail

The BRESSER MikroCam II cameras enable easy capturing of photos and videos with a microscope.

The modern Sony® CMOS sensors deliver brilliant colours with overall very low image noise and are thus the perfect solution for applications where natural colour reproduction is important. The included capture software offers numerous adjustment options for capturing single images and videos. An integrated measurement function* allows measurement already in the live image. The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Turkish, Chinese.

The housing has a C-mount connection thread. For use on devices with 23.2 mm mount, an optional variable reduction optic 0.5x (item no. 5914005) is available. For special applications, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4'' tripod thread.

Compared to the MikroCam SP, the BRESSER MikroCamII is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection. This allows up to 8 times higher data rates than USB 2.0 connections. The cameras are thus capable of transmitting more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and computer performance). This is especially important for living microorganisms. The camera is exceptionally light-sensitive, so short exposure times can be used even at high magnifications or demanding contrast methods.
