BRESSER Stereo Microscope Science ETD-301 7-63x Trinocular Zoom with MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI Microscope Camera and Full HD MINI HDMI Display (13.3")

Product information "BRESSER Stereo Microscope Science ETD-301 7-63x Trinocular Zoom with MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI Microscope Camera and Full HD MINI HDMI Display (13.3")"

Powerful combo set for precise observations and razor-sharp images. This high-quality set combines the professional Science ETD-301 stereo microscope, the modern MikroCam Mini HDMI microscope camera, and a compact 13.3-inch HDMI monitor into a powerful unit for precise analyses, visual documentation, and live presentations. A suitable adapter is also included.

The Microscope in Detail

The BRESSER Science ETD-301 is a reflected and transmitted light stereo magnifier with high-quality optics.
It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture and forestry, criminology, scientific research institutes, and schools, as well as for assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.
The particularly wide base with object table allows viewing of larger objects. The maximum object height is approx. 85 mm. The large working distance of 100 mm allows working with tools, e.g. for preparing or dissecting, measuring or testing.

The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each continuously adjustable. The reflected light incidence angle is particularly user-friendly adjustable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 9x stereo zoom objective (0.7x - 6.3x), a continuous magnification range of 7x to 63x is achieved.
The coarse and fine focusing allows precise sharpness adjustment, especially at high magnifications and for photography.

The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45°.
The trinocular tube can carry a DSLR / system camera (APS-C or DX format) or a C-mount camera (sensor size up to 1'') using an optional adapter. A switch diverts the light path from one eyepiece to the camera. This provides 50% light, more than a microscope with a permanent beam splitter.

To connect a DSLR / system camera, adapter Art. No. 5942100 and a camera-specific T2 ring are required.
A C-mount camera is connected with adapter Art. No. 5942101.

The Microscope Camera in Detail

The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a particularly compact HDMI camera. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small BRESSER monitor can be mounted directly on the camera (see Art. No. 5914120).

The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image always has a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and is delay-free. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, e.g. in quality control or production.

The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be controlled.
*To perform measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g. Art. No.: 5916710 or 5916720).
The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.

Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for this. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.

MICROSCOPE CAMERA FEATURES
  • HDMI connection for direct connection to a monitor, TV, projector or smartboard
  • C-mount thread for easy adaptability to various microscopes (manufacturer-independent)
  • Compatible with USB sticks or SD card readers (max. storage size: 512 GB)
  • No PC/laptop necessary
MICROSCOPE CAMERA SCOPE OF DELIVERY
  • MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI with C-mount connection
  • Power supply (12 V / 2A)
  • USB mouse
  • HDMI cable (approx. 1.5 m)

The Display in Detail

The Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMI
The display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artefacts, as the display has the same resolution as the camera's output image. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.

The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and simultaneously view the image on the monitor. The display delivers optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows several people to view the image without loss of quality.

The image from the microscope camera is always displayed delay-free and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS on the HDMI screen. Displaying via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out.

Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when viewing the image on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are unpleasant for eye problems such as floaters (vitreous opacities). Digital viewing can provide relief here.

The display can be powered with the supplied Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable short, angled HDMI cable is also included to avoid cable clutter at the workstation.
The mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done using two screws. Screws and tools are included.
