The New BRESSER Science TFM-301 is a trinocular microsscope, which is equipped with semiplan objectives. In addition to the binocular viewing pictures can also be made via the trinocular tube with C mount thread. The WF 10x eyepieces offer a large visual field of 20mm. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from ca. 55mm to 75mm. Dioptre adjustments are possible with both eyepieces.
The Köhler illumination is regulable with the built-in luminous-field diaphragm and the vertically and horizontally adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25, with iris diaphragm). An imprint of the different possible magnifications on the condenser makes the adjustment of the iris diaphragm very fast and precise.
Coaxial pinions drive the stage and focus which enables ergonomic operation of the microscope.
The trinocular tube enables the direct attachment of a c-mount camera or MikroCam.

Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.
This set contains especially well made, thin preparations, nicely colored and with very fine detail. The use of high quality sample material makes them very useful in school or for amateur microscopists. The Bresser cover slips have a size of 22 x22 mm and a thickness range from 0,13 – 0,17 mm. They are used to cover the sample on the slide.
A thin and even sample is necessary for observations with high magnification.
These cover slips are designed to work with all objectives that have the thickness of 0,17 mm included in their optical design. Usually you find this number printed on the objective.
For beginner’s and student microscopes, these cover glasses are also suitable.

The modern Sony® CMOS sensors give brilliant colours with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colours are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23.2 mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications, the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4'' camera tripod thread. The BRESSER MikroCamII are equipped with a USB 3.0 port, compared to the MikroCam SP. This enables up to 8 times faster data transfers to the PC compared with the USB 2.0 standard. The camera is able to deliver more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and PC performance). This is especially important when observing live microorganisms. In addition to this, the camera is exceptionally sensitive. Even in low light conditions (high magnifications, contrast methods) the camera can be operated with short exposure times.

The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1’’ microscope camera is the professional solution when it comes to microscope imaging.
This camera has a big 1’’ sensor (image area 13.06 x 8.8 mm); this is the biggest sensor of the MikroCam camera range. With this camera it is possible to document roughly the same field of view as it can be seen through the eyepiece (e.g. when using a 10x / 22mm). Other models will cover only 50% or less of the eyepiece field of view.
The Sony IMX183 CMOS-sensor is very sensitive and has extremely low image noise, which makes this camera especially suitable for contrast methods like dark field or phase contrast.
The MikroCam Lab II software comes with a wide range of professional functions, e.g. measurements in live view (calibration slide needed), mosaic, Focus-Stacking (for improved depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, gain, white balance etc) can be adjusted manually as well.
Due to the big sensor size the camera will not work with all microscope models. It might be possible that the optics will not illuminate the full sensor, so you experience vignetting. Usually this can be resolved by using the optional 1x optical adapter (item no. 5914001).
Please note that this camera model is not suitable for the stereo microscope BRESSER Science ETD-201. It will cover only a small field of view.

The BRESSER TRM-301 is a trinocular biological microscope of first-class quality: This means excellent imaging, good ergonomy, high stability and a modern attractive design. Also, we can recommend it to the engaged hobbyist as his "microscope for a lifetime".
A particular important feature of the TRM-301 is its ability for the Köhler illumination. This optimal illumination is bright, cool (going easy on the object), homogenous, reflex free and rich in contrast, so it makes the full use of the microscope optics. The Köhler illumination is standard for scientific research and microphotography. It is achieved with the fixed field diaphragm and the adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm). Naturally, the TRM-301 has the other features, which are typical for high-quality microscopes: lengthwise and cross moveable stage, ergonomic coaxial focusing knobs (fine focus: 200 µm / full turn), continous dimmer, planachromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x-oil retractable), 10x wide field eyepieces (mounted in 30° inclined eyepiece tubes), adjustment of eye relief, diopter adjustment and the phototube.
