Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

The BRESSER Erudit Basic Bino is a versatile biological microscope with binocular head. Observing with both eyes makes viewing more comfortable and ergonomic and improves detail recognition. With its high quality optics it is the perfect choice for use in school or hobby. With battery powered LED lighting it can be used anywhere, e.g. for fieldwork or excursions. The microscope can be used on a great variety of subjects, for example thin sections, pond life, or blood smears. It is also a useful tool to look at parasites of pets and livestock (e.g. coccidia, helminths, skin and fur parasites).Three magnifications (40x, 100x, 400x) deliver good resolution to see small details. The BRESSER MikroCam SP microscope cameras help to make photos and videos with a microscope very easy.The modern CMOS sensors  give brilliant colors with very low noise and is the perfect choice for any application where true natural colors are important. The included imaging software has multiple adjustments for the capture of still images and videos. The integrated measuring* routine allows for a measurement in the camera live image. The software can be operated in the following languages: German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Chinese. The camera housing includes the c-mount adapter thread. For use with 23,2mm adaptations, we recommend the optional, variable 0,5x reducer (item no. 5914005). For special applications the camera can also be mounted using the 1/4” camera tripod thread. The BRESSER TRM-301 is a trinocular biological microscope of first-class quality: This means excellent imaging, good ergonomy, high stability and a modern attractive design. It is a laboratory microscope, which permits an intensive use, e.g. in medicine, biology, agriculture and industry area. Also, we can recommend it to the engaged hobbyist as his "microscope for a lifetime". A particular important feature of the TRM-301 is its ability for the Köhler illumination. This optimal illumination is bright, cool (going easy on the object), homogenous, reflex free and rich in contrast, so it makes the full use of the microscope optics. The Köhler illumination is standard for scientific research and microphotography. It is achieved with the fixed field diaphragm and the adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm). With its solid metal body and wide magnification range of 40x-1000x, based on 4 objectives and a (replaceable) pair of eyepieces, the BRESSER Researcher meets high demands. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring-loaded to prevent damage, and the 100x objective can be used for oil immersion microscopy (immersion oil is included). The bright LED illumination is adjustable with a dimmer. The Abbe condenser is height-adjustable and centring, and equipped with an iris diaphragm. For perfect sharpness adjustment, coarse and fine focus are available, and for precise positioning of the specimen, a coaxial stage.
