BRESSER Researcher LCD Microscope

Product information "BRESSER Researcher LCD Microscope"

A digital microscope easily brings the microcosmos up on the screen. For a long time, these instruments were common only in the beginner's range. Now, the successful and proven Researcher series makes the step into the digital microscopy world and offers new options for microscopy in schools, for hobby or work. The optics and mechanics is the same as already well estabished in the Researcher Bino and Researcher Trino microscopes. Incuding 4 DIN objectives, Abbe condenser, coaxial fine focus and crosstable, the Researcher LCD is suitable for use in the microscopy hobby as well as in teaching or other work related applications. The highest magnification when using the 60x objective (compares to 600x on non digital microscopes) is high enough to view small microorganisms as microalgae, flagellates and bacteria. Other magnifications (20x, 100x oil) can be added later. The Researcher LCD is also compatible with our plan-achromatic objectives designed for 160mm optical tube length.

The integrated, modern Sony camerasensor IMX206 with 16MP gives a brilliant image with good contrast on the monitor. The user can change settings and capture images and video conveniently with the touch screen. Images with 16MP and Full HD video can be stored directly on SD card (SD card not supplied). The microscope also has a HDMI connection, so the image is easily shown on a big monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. The results can be shared with a bigger audience in lectures or teaching.

BRESSER Set Microscope Slides
Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary. The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy. The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

BRESSER Pollux-II 150/1400 EQ3 Reflector Telescope with Smartphone Adapter & Solar Filter
Explore the beauties of the night sky with this complete telescope set. Everything is included so that you can get started immediately with the fascinating hobby of astronomy: the astronomical reflector telescope with 150 mm aperture and 1,400 mm focal length, the equatorial mount, the tripod and extensive accessories for exciting observations. Especially important for beginners: the system is very easy to use. Particularly the Moon, the planets and the Sun appear impressive through the Pollux-II. Powerful performance for your first celestial observations – the telescope Take your first steps in astronomy with this classic reflector telescope of the "Newton" type. Because it is equipped with an additional lens inside the focuser, it belongs to the group of the so-called "catadioptric" optics. One advantage of this combination of lens and mirror: despite the large focal length, the telescope tube is relatively short and therefore easily transportable. In addition, you can look forward to a comfortable observation position at all times. This is because with telescopes of this design you do not look in at the back of the telescope, but at the front and laterally. So you don't have to bend down, even if the reflector telescope is pointed vertically upwards at the sky. The large aperture of 150 mm collects a lot of light from the celestial objects. In addition, 150 mm aperture and 1,400 mm focal length result in a focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of 1 to 9.3 (F/9.3). This allows you to enjoy viewing your favourite objects at high magnifications with good contrast. Admire especially the planets or details on the Moon through the entry-level telescope. But also some deep sky objects are very nice to observe: open star clusters, globular clusters and bright planetary nebulae such as the Ring Nebula M57 in the constellation Lyra can be seen beautifully through this astronomical telescope. But how close can you get to the celestial eye-catchers? The 150 mm aperture achieves a resolving power that allows magnifications of up to 300x with sharp images. The technical possibilities go far beyond this – theoretically up to 1,050x using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image can slowly decrease. In addition, high magnification also requires the right environmental conditions. For no matter through which telescope you look, the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) always influences your observation and magnification possibilities. Note for nature lovers: If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Pollux-II reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation. However, the image is always displayed laterally reversed as well as upside down, which makes no difference when observing the sky. However, this type of telescope is less suitable for nature and landscape observation during the day. Would you like to use your new telescope for exciting nature discoveries as well? Then we recommend that you choose one of the BRESSER refractor telescopes. Solid base for gazing skywards – mount and tripod Have you found the perfect location for your journey of discovery into the night sky? Then simply mount your astronomical telescope with the equatorial mount on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod. The special feature of this type of mount: after the so-called "alignment", the positioning of an axis parallel to the Earth's axis, the movement of the celestial bodies only has to be compensated for on this one axis. To do this, you simply point the axis approximately at Polaris. This is a huge advantage over the azimuthal mount, where both axes are moved simultaneously. In addition, the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment make adjusting and tracking the telescope very precise and comfortable. And to ensure that accessories are always at hand, they can be stored on the handy shelf between the tripod legs.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable! Everything you need, night and day – the accessories The astronomical telescope comes with a wide range of equipment so that you can start admiring the Moon, planets or the Sun straight away. At night, the LED viewfinder helps you keep an overview of the sky. Once installed parallel on the tube and correctly aligned, the small red dot shows you where the telescope is pointing when you look through it. This way, you can align the optics precisely and find celestial bodies more quickly before you then take a closer look with the high magnification. Varying views of the universe: the two eyepieces allow you to marvel at your observation objects in different magnifications. They are simply inserted into the telescope's focuser using their sockets with a standardised 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) diameter. You want to see even more details? Then go for the 3x barlow lens, which triples the magnification of the eyepieces. If you would like to make astronomical discoveries even during the day, use the solar filter to observe the star of our own solar system. It allows you to easily and safely observe sunspots and granulation on the sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the sun without the solar filter! Capture special highlights easily – with the smartphone adapter, you use your smartphone as a camera for your telescope. This way you can quickly take your first photos of the Moon or the Sun, for example, and get started in astrophotography. FEATURES Reflector telescope with 150 mm aperture and 1,400 mm focal length Reflector type catadioptric Well suited for observing the Sun, Moon and planets Height-adjustable tripod with equatorial EQ3 mount Precise adjustment through flexible shafts and fine adjustment in both axes Easy to use, very suitable for beginners Focal ratio F/9.3, therefore good for observing the planets and details on the moon 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) eyepiece focuser Two eyepieces and one barlow lens with 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) extension tubes for different magnifications Safe solar observation with the included solar filter Entry into astrophotography with smartphone camera adapter SCOPE OF DELIVERY Telescope Aluminium tripod Equatorial EQ3 mount Eyepieces: 4 mm and 20 mm (1.25 inch sockets) Barlow lens 3x (1.25 inch socket) LED illuminated dot finder Solar filter Smartphone camera adapter Accessory tray Astronomy software download Instruction manual

A versatile combination set consisting of the Researcher Bino microscope and MikroCam Mini HDMI camera – optimal for school, hobby, and profession. The robust Researcher Trino microscope impresses with its binocular view and allows for comfortable, precise work with clear, detailed images. Together with the MikroCam Mini HDMI camera, which can be directly mounted on the trinocular connection, the live image can be displayed directly on a monitor. It is therefore ideal for presentations, education, and leisure. The microscope in detailThe BRESSER Researcher Trino microscope is the best-selling BRESSER transmitted light microscope in the mid-price range due to its unbeatable price-performance ratio. It already provides impressive insights into the microcosm. The microscope image is sharp and high-contrast. With its solid metal body and wide magnification range of 40x-1000x, based on 4 objectives and a (replaceable) pair of eyepieces, the BRESSER Researcher meets high demands. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring-loaded to prevent damage, and the 100x objective can be used for oil immersion microscopy (immersion oil is included). The bright LED illumination is adjustable with a dimmer. The Abbe condenser is height-adjustable and centring, and equipped with an iris diaphragm. For perfect sharpness adjustment, coarse and fine focus are available, and for precise positioning of the specimen, a coaxial stage. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in the classroom. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Due to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, needs to be digitized in quality control or production. To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. This allows you to control the three menus (camera settings, measurement*, and display).*To take measurements with the camera, a calibration specimen is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible. Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for that. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.FEATURES OF THE MICROSCOPE CAMERAHDMI connection for direct connection to a monitor, TV, projector, or smartboardC-Mount thread for easy adaptability to various microscopes (manufacturer-independent)Compatible with USB sticks or SD card readers (max. storage size: 512 GB)No PC/laptop necessarySCOPE OF DELIVERY MICROSCOPE CAMERAMikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI with C-Mount connectionPower supply (12 V / 2A)USB mouseHDMI cable (approx. 1.5 m)The display in detailThe Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMIThe display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual while simultaneously viewing the image on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! This allows multiple people to view the image without loss of quality. The image from the microscope camera is always displayed on the HDMI screen without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Therefore, the representation via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work is to be carried out under microscopic control. Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters. Digital viewing can provide relief here. The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so cable clutter at the workplace is avoided. The mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done using two screws. BRESSER LCD Student Microscope 8.9cm (3.5")
With its 8.9 cm (3.5") LCD monitor, this student microscope allows several people to view objects at the same time. The microscope can be used for both transmitted light and (limited) reflected light microscopy. You can take photos of your observations or record them as a movie. The device has a card slot for SD cards and a USB port (for transferring photos/videos saved on an SD card). The magnification is 50-500x, the digital magnification reaches up to 2,000x (4x digital zoom). It is supplied with a comprehensive range of accessories. Thanks to the integrated LED incident light illumination, even opaque objects can be viewed without time-consuming preparation. Objects up to 3mm high can be viewed, e.g. small insects, plant parts, sand and much more. This allows children in particular a quick and uncomplicated introduction into microscopy. Transmitted light microscopy then opens up the world of cells and microorganisms. It doesn't just have to be permanent specimens; an onion skin, tiny moss leaves or water plant leaves already clearly show the structure of the plant cells. Water samples from a pond, aquarium or watering can contain numerous ciliates, rotifers and other protozoa. There is a lot to discover with the BRESSER LCD microscope, and several people can always relax and observe on the screen at the same time.
