Thanks to the high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series, you can record smooth and fluid videos. The built-in Sony sensors deliver excellent image quality, vibrant colours, and impressive dynamic range. The included software supports multiple languages, including German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Turkish. The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of features. Essential settings like exposure time and sensitivity can be adjusted automatically or manually. One of the standout features is focus stacking, which increases depth of field, as well as tools for creating mosaics and panoramas. Both functions can be used with a pre-recorded image series or directly in live view. With live focus stacking (EDF), the MikroCamLabII software can produce razor-sharp images in just minutes. As you adjust the focus on your microscope, the software automatically builds a perfectly sharp final image—no extra steps needed. This allows you to achieve stunning, high-quality results in no time.  The built-in measurement function* helps you determine dimensions or overlay a scale. With just a few clicks, you can measure distances, angles, or areas. Advanced tools even allow for precise measurements of circles (including area and radius) and complex polygons. Measurements can be performed on both captured images and live view. The MikroCamLabII software also includes powerful algorithms for automated image analysis, such as particle counting and surface evaluation. The camera body features a C-mount thread, making it compatible with microscopes from a variety of manufacturers. The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a very compact HDMI camera. No PC or laptop is needed to use it, simply connect to a monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. This makes the camera especially suited for teaching. As a plus, you can also mount the BRESSER HDMI display (item no. 5914120) directly on the camera. Connection via HDMI is easy and the camera is ready to go instantly. No software installation, PC setup etc. is necessary. The lossless data transfer ensures a good image quality and the image is lag free and with a constant high framerate of 60fps. This is especially helpful when digitizing a microscope workplace in QC or production With the included mouse, you can control the camera via 3 distinctive on screen menus (camera control, settings, measurements). To calibrate measurements, please add a calibration slide (e.g. item no. 5916720). The camera is well suited for presentations, lectures etc. because upon startup it is working directly in auto mode with no user input. The camera does not have a start button, it is working directly after power up. Menus and mouse icon are not visible if the mouse is not connected. Please note that this camera does not allow direct PC connection via USB. The USB port is for the mouse input only. The BRESSER Photo Adapter 30.5 mm / C-Mount is designed to establish a connection between the 0.5x Reducing lens (Art.-No. 5914005) and the C-Mount MikroCam Adapter (Art.-No. 5942101). Thus a larger image field as well as a higher light intensity can be achieved with a MikroCam. Microscope slides with a micrometer scale are used for the calibration for measurements.They are used in combination with a micrometer eyepiece or a measurement software (for cameras) in order to measure preparations. The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.

Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

This allows for large image fields to be captured. Depending on the microscope model, for example, the eyepiece field of view can be fully documented with this camera (for a 10x eyepiece / 22mm). Other cameras often capture less than 50% of the eyepiece field of view.The Sony IMX183 CMOS sensor has extremely low noise at high light sensitivity, making this camera also excellent for dark field or phase contrast shots.The MikroCam Lab II software offers a variety of different functions, such as measurement in live image (calibration specimen required), mosaic image creation, focus stacking (for increased depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be set manually.Due to the large sensor, the camera is not optimally suitable for every microscope. There may be edge shading (vignetting) in some cases. This shading is usually corrected by a 1x optic (Art.
