The BRESSER LCD radio controlled wall clock with weather forecast does not only show the time but also your regional weather forecast transferred by the Swiss weather service METEOTIME.
A feature of this model that stands out is the large display: the time is displayed with a font size of 6.5cm and thus can also be read well from the distance. The time is received automatically via DCF time signal (CET) . Also the clock change is done automatically, so you don't have to worry about it. A detailed 4 day weather information is shown on a separate LCD.

Practical features and useful weather data

Meanwhile, the perceived ('feels like') temperature factors in the impact of wind and humidity on the outdoor temperature, and helps you to choose the right clothes. In addition to the dew point, wind chill and heat index, the weather station also shows you the wind speed using the Beaufort index so that you always know how strong the wind is blowing.
However, it's not just the outdoor conditions that are important. The weather station also features a graphic indoor climate indicator, which uses a smiley to show you whether the indoor temperature and humidity are at an optimal level. If your struggle with mildew or dry air, you can set a maximum and minimum value alarm that informs you when the preset limits have been reached. This alarm can also be set for the other measured values. If you're a keen meteorologist or gardener and want to follow recent trends in weather, the weather station also features a historical bar chart for precipitation and air pressure, as well as a min/max value memory.
Radio-controlled clock with built-in alarm
In addition to extensive meteorological data, the weather station also features a radio-controlled clock that sets the time automatically. After it has been connected to the power supply, the base station automatically searches for the corresponding radio signal. A few minutes later, the time, date and day of the week will appear on the display, together with the current moon phase. (PLEASE SET HOUR OFFSET TO -1 IN THE TIME SETTING MENU IF IN THE UK, IRELAND OR PORTUGAL TO RECEIVE THE CORRECT TIME FOR THESE AREAS).
The weather station is ideal for bedrooms: the built-in light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness to the surroundings so that your sleep is not disturbed. There is also a built-in alarm clock with a snooze function. During the winter, the ice/forst alarm activates the alarm 30 minutes earlier when the temperature is below -3 °C. Die BRESSER Funk-Wanduhr zeigt nicht nur die Uhrzeit, sondern auch eine 4-tägige regionale Wettervorhersage an. Die Daten empfängt die Uhr von dem Schweizer Wetterdienst METEOTIME.
Die Wetterdaten können aus 600 verschiedenen Städten / Regionen bezogen werden. Es gibt sowohl eine Tag-, als auch Nachtanzeige und die Uhr warnt vor Unwetter. Zusätzlich bezieht sie die Innen- und Außentemperatur sowie Innen- und Außenluftfeuchtigkeit von dem integrierten Sensor bzw. dem mitgelieferten Außensensor.
Hervorzuheben ist bei diesem Modell das große Uhren-Display. Die Ziffern können auch noch aus einer größeren Distanz gut abgelesen werden. Die Uhrzeit wird automatisch per DCF Funksignal empfangen und sekundengenau wiedergegeben. Ohne Eingreifen: automatische Sommer- und Winterzeit-Einstellung. Die 4-Tages-Wetterinformationen werden mit passenden Abbildungen in einem stylisch abgetrennten LCD angezeigt.
