Microscope slides with a micrometer scale are used for the calibration for measurements.They are used in combination with a micrometer eyepiece or a measurement software (for cameras) in order to measure preparations. The broad scale is suitable for lower magnifications, the fine scale for higher magnifications.

The New BRESSER Science Infinity is the new top of the range of the biology microscope series by BRESSER. It is based on infinitely corrected planachromatic objective lenses with superb image quality. Because of the modern design and optics the installation of accessories is very simple and one has many options. The WF 10x eyepieces offer a large visual field of 22mm and are also suitable for spectacle wearers. For protection purposes the eyepieces are rubber coated. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from ca. 55mm to 75mm. Dioptre adjustments are possible with both eyepieces.The bright and durable LED illumination is dimmable and also very practical for darkfield microscopy*.The Full Köhler illumination is adjustable with the built-in luminous-field diaphragm and the vertically and horizontally adjustable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25, with iris diaphragm). The BRESSER Science ETD-301 is a stereo incident light and transmitted light microscope with high-quality optics.It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture, forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools as well as for the assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.The particularly wide base with object table enables the viewing of larger objects. The maximum object height is approx. 85 mm. The large working distance of 100 mm allows working with tools, e.g. for dissecting, measuring or testing.The instrument has an LED incident light and a transmitted light illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each can be infinitely adjusted. The incident light angle can be adjusted in a particularly user-friendly way. With interchangeable wide-field eyepieces (WF10x) and a 9x stereo zoom lens (0.7x-6.3x), a continuous magnification range from 7x to 63x is realised.The coarse and fine focusing allows precise focusing, especially at high magnifications and in photography.The interpupillary distance and dioptric compensation are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two 45° inclined eyepiece tubes.The trinocular tube can carry an SLR/system camera (APS-C or DX format) or a c-mount camera (sensor size up to 1") using an optional adapter. The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a special reflected light microscope, which allows to observe non-transparent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). This solid designed instrument is ideal for working in metallography (e. g. microscopy of polished samples of metals or alloys), mineralogy, precision engineering and electronics. It is suitable for scientific research, teaching demonstration and industrial production (e.g. quality controlling). According to its purposes, the MTL 201 is equipped with a large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved coarsely by a quick adjustment lever and finely by a transverse and a longitudinal knob. The focuser has coarse and fine drive (coaxial; circa 70 µm/ full turn). The illumination is done by a halogen lamp (20 W) with a dimmer. The light comes through the objective from above onto the sample. There are a field diaphragm, which can be centered, some filters (yellow, green, blue, ground glass) and a polarizer/analyzer combination. The fivefold nosepiece is equipped with planachromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular head bears two 30° inclined ocular tubes and the photo tube. The oculars (with 10x wide field lenses) have diopter and eye relief adjustments. The photo tube allows for digital imaging, e. g. with an optional available PC eyepiece. This Full HD eyepiece camera lets you capture photos and videos directly through your microscope. The MikrOkular LF fits either in place of an eyepiece or into the microscope’s third tube. The screen delivers brilliant images without artefacts, as the display has the same resolution as the camera's output image. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can continue to use the microscope as usual and simultaneously view the image on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows several people to view the image without loss of quality.The microscope camera image is displayed on the HDMI screen always without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Display via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is especially advantageous when working under microscopic control.Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when viewing the image on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture can be uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters (vitreous opacities).
