Product information "BRESSER Microscope Science TRM 301 with MikroCam PRO HDMI camera and HDMI screen (13.3")"
The Microscope in Detail
The BRESSER Science TRM-301 is a trinocular transmitted light microscope of top class: Excellent image reproduction, good ergonomics, high stability, and an appealing design characterize it. As a fully usable laboratory microscope, it finds wide applications in medicine, biology, agriculture, and industry. It is also highly recommended for the dedicated hobby microscopist as a 'microscope for life'.
A particularly important feature of the TRM-301 is its ability for so-called Köhler illumination. This optimal specimen illumination, which is exceptionally bright, cool (specimen-friendly), uniform, glare-free, and high-contrast, fully utilizes the performance of the microscope optics. It therefore represents the standard in scientific work and microphotography. The Köhler illumination is adjustable with the fixed built-in aperture diaphragm and the height-adjustable and centrable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm).
Of course, the TRM-301 also features the further typical equipment for high-quality microscopes: with a cross table that moves transversely and longitudinally with Nonius scales, ergonomic coaxial focusing drives (the fine drive achieves 200 µm/revolution), stepless lamp dimmer, plan achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x-oil spring), 10x wide-field eyepieces (in 30° inclined eyepiece tubes), inter-pupillary distance and diopter adjustment, as well as a photo tube.

The Microscope Camera in Detail
The BRESSER MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus impresses with its excellent image quality while being user-friendly. It delivers the microscope image live and without delay as an HDMI signal with Full HD resolution to a monitor or TV. An optional 11'' HDMI monitor (Art. No. 5914110) can be directly mounted on the camera and provides brilliant and high-contrast images. Due to its very high light sensitivity, good image quality is ensured even in low light. Thus, this model is especially recommended for dark field or phase contrast.
The autofocus allows optimal focusing of the camera without using the microscope's focusing wheels. This ensures parfocality on various trinocular microscopes. The focusable range extends from the 0 position, corresponding to the C-Mount distance, over a maximum forward focusing of 5.4 mm, thus also reaching the CS-Mount distance and additionally up to 10.6 mm inward, to cover an even larger range. Besides autofocus, the camera can also be manually focused using a mouse. A focus adjustment to a specific area is also possible.
The operation of the camera functions is done via mouse directly on the screen menu. Measurements can be performed via the screen menu, turning your microscope with the MikroCam Pro HDMI Autofocus into a fully-fledged digital measuring microscope.
The MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus offers a variety of applications, including:
- Documentation
- Evaluation
- Analysis
- Presentation
- Quality control
- Automation
- Machine vision
Additionally, the camera can also provide the microscope view in a wireless network via a WiFi module. If the camera is connected via HDMI, images and videos can be recorded directly on an SD card (not included). However, a connection to the PC via USB is no longer provided for this model. For this, we recommend the MikroCam Pro HDMI model 5914180.

The Display in Detail
The Full HD display is the ideal complement to the BRESSER MikroCam Pro HDMI and MINI HDMI
The display can be mounted directly on the camera with an adjustable holder. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. Thus, observation can be done independently of a PC.
The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and view the image simultaneously on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! Thus, several people can also view the image without loss of quality.
The image from the microscope camera is displayed on the HDMI screen always without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. The representation via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out.
Many users also benefit from the improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters. Digital viewing can provide relief here.
The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so that cable clutter at the workplace is avoided. The mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done using two screws. Screws and tools are included.
