The Microscope in Detail

The NEW BRESSER Science Infinity Microscope is the new flagship model of Bresser's biological microscope series. It features infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives with excellent image quality. Thanks to the contemporary optical design, you have great flexibility when connecting accessories such as cameras, etc.

The WF 10x eyepieces have a large field of view of 22 mm and are also ideal for glasses wearers. For protection, the eyepieces are equipped with a rubberized surface. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted from approximately 55 mm to approximately 75 mm. A diopter adjustment is possible with both eyepieces.

The powerful and durable LED illumination is adjustable and is also very suitable for contrast methods*.

The Köhler illumination is adjustable with the fixed built-in field diaphragm and the height-adjustable and centrable Abbe condenser (numerical aperture 1.25; with iris diaphragm). The condenser also features a printout of the various magnifications, allowing for quick and precise adjustment of the iris diaphragm.

The coaxial drives of the stage adjustment and the coarse and fine focusing enable ergonomic working.

The trinocular port allows for the direct connection of a C-Mount camera or MikroCam.

The Microscope Camera in Detail

With the BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K, you can record 4K videos at up to 30 fps (depending on the system used). Thanks to the global shutter, there are no image distortions during movement. The large image sensor (14.13 x 7.45 mm) provides a very large field of view.
The very high light sensitivity of the Sony® IMX305 CMOS sensor enables excellent image quality even in dark field or phase contrast.

The BRESSER MikroCam Lab II software offers a variety of functions, such as measurement in live view (calibration specimen required), mosaic creation, focus stacking (for increased depth of field). Furthermore, almost all automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be set manually.

The functions: mosaic and focus stacking (EDF) can be generated directly from the live view. This can save a lot of time.
Even if you are not a professional, you can achieve quick success. To optimally use the mosaic function, a cross table is required.

Due to the large sensor, the camera is not optimally suited for every microscope. There may be edge shading (vignetting) in some cases. This shading is usually prevented by a 1x optic (Art. No. 5914001) that is screwed into the camera.

This camera is not designed for the trinocular tube of the ETD-201. In this microscope, not the entire part of the image field can be used.
