The Microscope in Detail

The BRESSER Researcher Trino Microscope is the best-selling BRESSER transmitted light microscope in the mid-price range due to its unbeatable price-performance ratio. It already provides impressive insights into the microcosm. The microscope image is sharp and high-contrast. With its solid metal body and wide magnification range of 40x-1000x, based on 4 objectives and a (replaceable) pair of eyepieces, the BRESSER Researcher meets high demands. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring-loaded to prevent damage, and the 100x objective can be used for oil immersion microscopy (immersion oil is included). The bright LED illumination is adjustable with a dimmer. The Abbe condenser is height-adjustable and centring, and equipped with an iris diaphragm. For perfect sharpness adjustment, coarse and fine focus are available, and for precise positioning of the specimen, a coaxial stage. The 360° rotatable binocular head allows for individual adjustment of the interpupillary distance and diopter compensation between the observer's eyes.

Instead of a binocular head, the Trino Researcher has a trinocular head. This allows the user to observe with both eyes while simultaneously connecting a camera or PC eyepiece. Cameras from the MikroCam SP series and the MikrOkular Full HD can be used without further adapters. The trinocular tube can be set to be parfocal with the eyepieces.

For special contrast methods, the Researcher Microscope can be upgraded with a dark field condenser (dry or oil). The Researcher Trino is thus the most affordable trinocular microscope that offers this possibility.

The Microscope Camera in Detail

The BRESSER MikroCam SF cameras are excellent for capturing photos and videos with a microscope. This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with a smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, colour reproduction, and dynamics.

The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.

The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. Essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.

Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously recorded image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharp images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MikroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time.

The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles, or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you in measuring circles with area and radius or even complex polygons.
Measurements can be performed in the captured image or in the live image. The MikroCamLabII software also has extensive algorithms for automated image analysis, e.g., for particle counting or area evaluation.

The housing features a C-mount connection thread and can therefore be used with microscopes from various manufacturers. We are happy to advise you on which MikroCam is optimally suited for your microscope.

For use on devices with a 23.2 mm receptacle, an optional 0.5x reducing optic (Art. No. 5914015 (fixed), Art. No. 5914005 (variable)) is available. For special applications, e.g., with a C-mount objective, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.

*A suitable measuring tool is required for calibrating the measurement function, e.g.: Art. No. 5916710 or 5916720.

BRESSER USB Digital Microscope DST-1028 5MP
The BRESSER USB Digital Microscope DST-1028 5MP enables easy and convenient observation of your specimen on the computer with detailed images. The digital handheld microscope is especially suitable for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components, but also plants, insects and much more. In addition to applications in school and hobby, the digital microscope is also suitable for tasks in quality assurance. The device features high-quality optics with continuous zoom. This enables documentation of the specimen between 10x and 280x magnifications. Depending on the object to be examined, the appropriate magnification can always be selected. With its ring light, the digital incident light microscope ensures optimal illumination and high-contrast images of your specimen. The ring light consists of eight LEDs. The brightness can be conveniently controlled with the dimmer, which is integrated in the USB connection cable. The microscope has a stable, adaptable metal stand, which can be adjusted in height depending on the object height and magnification used. This makes it possible to examine both larger and very flat objects (e.g. printing documents). At low magnifications, the working distance is 110 mm, so that working with tools, e.g. for preparation, is possible underneath. FIELDS OF APPLICATIONQuality assuranceIndustryForensics (evidence material, authenticity testing)Scientific examinations (e.g. surfaces and structures)Jewellery collectibles and watchesPlants and plants diseases, pets e.g. in horticulture and agriculture FEATURESDigital USB incident light microscope with LED ring lightHigh-quality optics with continuous zoomGenerous working distance for larger objectsSolid metal construction Cable length: 1,2 mImage fields: 10x: 42 x 32 mm / 100x: 4,2 x 3,2 mm / 280x: 1,6 x 1,2 mmMax. object height: 10x – ca. 45 mm / 100x – ca. 160 mm / 280x – ca. 170 mm SYSTEM REQUIREMENTSWindows 10 or 11Intel i3, i5, i7 or i9 CPU from the 2nd generation orAMD FX or Ryzen CPUOptical Disk Drive or internet connection for software downloadUSB 2.0 SCOPE OF DELIVERYDigital microscope incl. software download (for Windows only)Integrated USB port with adjustment wheel for light intensitymetal stand with integrated focusingExtension for tripod

Nexcope NIB610 professional inverted laboratory microscope
Inverted microscopes are used for observing cell cultures. The NEXCOPE NIB610 is particularly suitable for this purpose and is very user-friendly and easy to handle. Like all devices of the NIB600 series, the microscope is also prepared for use in sterile workbenches (Clean Bench, Laminar Flow). The UV-resistant coating ensures that the workstation can be sterilised with UV light without any problems. Using an inverted microscope, the sample is illuminated from above and viewed from below through the bottom of the sample vessel. With such an inverted design, the device enables the microscopy of plankton, microalgae and cell cultures directly in the culture vessel without opening the vessel. For example, cell cultures can be observed in so-called 96-well (Terasaki) plates, Petri dishes or special slides with attached wells. The sample does not have to be covered, and the thickness of the layer is also insignificant.Accordingly, this special microscope is used in research institutes and universities, in veterinary medicine, agriculture, marine biology, limnology, aquaculture, etc.OBJECTIVESThe NEXCOPE NIB610 microscope is equipped with a quintuple nosepiece. A planachromatic 4x objective, as well as a 10x, 20x and 40x planachromatic phase contrast objective are already included in the scope of delivery. The objectives are designed for sample vessels with a base thickness of 1.2 mm. This means that standard slides or plates that rest on standard slides can also be used.EYEPIECESThe eyepieces have a large field of view of 22 mm. The high field of view makes them very comfortable even for spectacle wearers. A rubber cup protects against contact. A diopter compensation from -5 to +5 can be set individually for each eyepiece. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted between 48 mm and 75 mm.ILLUMINATIONThe powerful 3W LED can be adjusted in brightness and provides optimal illumination. The adjustment-free condenser allows for quick readiness for use. The phase contrast adjustment is also preset and does not need to be changed when changing magnifications.MECHANICSIn addition to coarse focusing, fine focusing helps to bring the object into focus very precisely. A full turn of the fine focusing knob moves the stage up or down by 0.2 mm. On the right side, the fine focus can be adjusted with a finger. The tension of the coarse focusing knob can be adjusted as desired. The fine focusing knobs are held magnetically and can be set to the left or right, as required. The cross stage offers the possibility of inserting various specimen holders (optional). Thus, slides, 96-well cell culture plates or Petri dishes can be inserted. The microscope can also be operated without a stage. This provides a very large, flat surface, e.g. for larger culture flasks or stacks. If the condenser is removed, a working distance of 187 mm is achieved.CAMERA CONNECTIONThe NEXCOPE NIB610 is specially designed for use with c-mount cameras. C-mount adapters (1x and 0.5x) are available.ACCESSORIES (optional)Hoffman Modulation Phase ContrastRelief 3D ContrastSample holder (Universal holder, Terasaki holder, Petri dish holder (54 mm and 90 mm)PROPERTIESProfessional inverted transmitted light microscopeType of objectives: Planachromatic (60 mm adjustment length)Precise mechanicsVery bright 3W LED illuminationSCOPE OF DELIVERYNIB610 Inverted microscope with quintuple nosepiece4x Objectives (10x, 20x, 40x with phase contrast), 4x as bright field1x Universal phase contrast slider1x Universal holder1x Centering telescope (CT)2x Spare fuses1x C-mount photo adapter1x Hexagonal screwdiver1x Dust cover
