Product information "BRESSER Messier NT150s/750 EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo Telescope Set"

The telescope set, consisting of the BRESSER Messier NT-150s/750 tube and the modern EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount, is an impressive combination of portable, powerful optics and user-friendly mounting. Thanks to the parabolic primary mirror and the 150 mm aperture, you can capture impressive details of nebulae, galaxies, and many other fascinating celestial objects. The high-quality solar filter also allows for safe solar observation. With the reliable GoTo control and the user-friendly ExploreStars app, navigating the sky becomes effortless. Additionally, the tracking to compensate for Earth’s rotation is exceptionally precise with the PMC-Eight GoTo mount.

The Telescope

The BRESSER Messier NT-150 is distinguished by its good portability and razor-sharp optics with a parabolic primary mirror. The 150 mm aperture allows you to observe even smaller nebulae in the vastness of space. Discover the remnants of a massive star explosion from the year 1054 in the Taurus constellation or trace the glowing filaments of the Great Orion Nebula. Spot the famous Pinwheel Galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major or find the Dumbbell Nebula in the constellation Vulpecula. With the high-quality objective solar filter, you can also safely observe sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. (Warning: Never aim the telescope at the Sun without a solar filter!)

The Mount

The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount is equipped with a modern and highly precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi controller unit, providing all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors are directly connected to this unit via cable, and an ST-4 compatible autoguider interface is also available. Additionally, the control system supports micro-stepping to ensure precise tracking.

Intuitive control via app and graphical star map
The specially developed ExploreStars app for the PMC-Eight system impresses with an intuitive and visually appealing interface. The currently available alignment stars for control initialization, as well as all celestial objects in the database, are displayed as a star map with additional text information. All these objects can be easily viewed and selected.

Powerful controller unit with Open GoTo for customization
The heart of the controller unit consists of a fully autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi Ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP function. This enables remote operation via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. The Open GoTo system also allows for custom firmware to be written and uploaded to the controller unit. This enables customized adjustments to the device's functions and the creation of custom object lists.

Polar finder included
The pre-installed polar finder scope included in the package allows for quick and precise polar alignment and long exposure times without unwanted star trails. The integrated LED lighting unit further enhances the usability of the polar finder.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC HR Coma Corrector
After three years of testing and refining we are extremely proud to present the new Explore Scientific High Resolution (HR) Coma Corrector. This corrector is a class of it´s own - it is fully functional for visual use and expands the focal length by only 6%! The Explore Scientific Coma Correktor is delivered as a complete set together with a rotating helical focuser with laser-etched scale, so you get a full package: corrector, adaptor to T2 (M42x0.75mm), adaptor to M48 (M48x0.75) and the helical focuser for visual fun. This coma corrector really is "high resolution" - it deliveres a visual polystrehl performance of 0,98 at f/4 and 0,96 at f/3! So it can stay in the telescope - and you will not only enjoy a tack-sharp Jupiter, but aslo sharp and defined moons in the future! What this means in terms of performance is shown in the three pictures with the graphs - the sharpness increase in those comparisons with and without corrector are stunning (examples are 400mm f/4, f/3,5 and f/3). Please notice: These graphs are for FLAT FIELD! You will get this performance without refocussing! Diameter of the field is 30mm - it doesn´t make sense to increase this with 2" and fast optical systems. Length of the 2" corrector barrel is approx. 85mm and it can be used with almost all 2" focusers on the market. To use the HR Coma Corrector visually, you need to have at least 32mm spare inward travel at your focuser, while the focus is on the same plane as the focusers end. Photographically there is no problem - the HR Coma Corrector shifts the focus outward by about 35mm, so that you will have no problem in achieving focus, when you are able to focus your camera without the HR Coma Corrector. FEATURESEliminates coma, field-curvature and astigmatism in newtonians Diffraction limited performance on axis and in the field Flattens the field Works for very fast systems down to f/3 Four-lens construction Can be used with almost all 2" focusers on the market SCOPE OF DELIVERY High Resolution (HR) Coma Corrector Adaptor to T2 (M42x0.75mm) Adaptor to M48 (M48x0.75) Helical focuser

BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera & Guider 1.25"
BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera with autoguider: a great camera for different types of astrophotography and for autoguiding. Not only suitable for planets, but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Dedicated ToupSky Astro Imaging software supports video preview, video recording, video processing, image capture and processing, dark field correction and raw data output. Easy to use, but with professional results. One of the main features of the new backlit SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, which makes it possible to detect deep-sky objects without active cooling. SONY has increased the quantum efficiency at 533 nm wavelength up to 77%, which is much better than other CMOS sensors have been able to achieve in the past. Connect this camera to a guidescope and attach the camera's built-in ST-4 port, directly to your telescope's equatorial mount guide port and autoguide - using many popular audioguiding programs (PHD, Guidedog and more). Autoguiding enables you to take accurate pictures with long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. Simple automatic tracking at its best. You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes, or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25 " tube, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or C-mount adapter thread (1 "x1 /32"). IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10/11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding. The autoguider software is not included. You can use PHD2 Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (paid).
