FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The BRESSER MeteoTemp Baro HZ Colour Weather Station gives you a comprehensive overview of the local weather conditions and your indoor climate. In addition to measuring the temperature and humidity, it also features a built-in barometer and weather forecast function, as well as other practical functions such as automatic time adjustment and an alarm clock.
Weather forecast function with air pressure indicator
Not sure whether to pack an umbrella? The weather station comes with a weather forecast function, which displays the weather forecast using a series of symbols. You can also view the recent air pressure readings from the built-in barometer to give you a better idea of the latest trends in the weather.
Precise temperature and humidity measurements
Thermometer and hygrometer in one device: the wireless sensor has a range of up to 80 metres and takes precise measurements of the outdoor temperature and humidity. It also features a built-in display, which allows you to view the readings directly from your balcony or garden without returning to the base station.

Weather station with outdoor sensor
The base station can be placed at a distance of up to 80 metres from the wireless outdoor sensor, and displays the outdoor temperature on the built-in screen. When you’re outdoors, you can also view the current temperature on the outdoor sensor’s built-in display.
Monitor the indoor temperature
Thanks to the built-in thermo sensor, the Meteo Temp W weather station also displays the precise indoor temperature to help you maintain a comfortable indoor climate in your living room or study. You can also use the temperature display to help you save energy in the winter: lowering the temperature by 1 degree reduces energy consumption by up to 6%.
Weather forecast function with short-term trend indicator
Sunny, (partly) cloudy, (heavy) rain or snow – the weather station uses six intuitive symbols to display the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours, while the trend arrow shows you the trend for the next few minutes.
Practical frost warning function for cold winter days
The BRESSER weather station also keeps you informed about wintry weather conditions: a snowflake symbols appears on the display when the outdoor temperature falls below 3 °C to warn you about the potential for frosty conditions.
Automatic date and time setting (DCF)
The Meteo Temp W weather station features a date and time display that receives the time automatically from a DCF radio signal (CET time). You can also set the date and time manually to enable use in other time zones.

With its 9 cm high numbers the time can easily be read even from a greater distance and from almost any position in the room.
