BRESSER Quasar 80/900 EQ Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Camera Adapter
Take a closer look at the wonders of the universe. This complete telescope set for beginners contains everything you need for your new hobby: a refractor telescope with 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length, an equatorial mount, a tripod and a wide range of accessories for astronomical observations. The system is very easy to handle and can even be used by children. Simply unpack, set up and get started – you will be amazed at what you will discover! Easy start with user-friendly classic – the telescope The astronomical telescope is a traditional lens telescope, a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor. The advantage of this established telescope type: even beginners and children find it easy to operate. In addition, the BRESSER Quasar scores points for its modern, precisely coated optics with good imaging properties. A direct comparison shows: With its 80 mm aperture, this telescope already collects 30 % more light than a 70 mm telescope and the resolving power is better as well. This means that you can already marvel at some of the details on Mars through the Quasar. In addition, 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length mean a large focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 11.3 (F/11.3). The result: a very sharp image with good contrast. Due to its long focal length the entry-level telescope is a specialist when it comes to observing the moon, sun, planets, open star clusters and globular clusters. But you can also take a look at many gas nebulae through this telescope, such as the famous Orion Nebula M42 or the Ring Nebula M57. How big will you see the fascinating celestial bodies? The 80 mm aperture achieves a resolving power that easily allows magnifications of up to about 160x with really sharp images. Technically, much more is possible, theoretically up to 675x using the included accessories. However, with increasing magnification, the sharpness of the image can slowly decrease. In addition to the equipment, the conditions play a role as well: the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also determines how much you are able to magnify. Sturdy base for your easy astro-beginning – mount and tripod Found the perfect spot for your nocturnal explorations? Then install the telescope effortlessly on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod using the equatorial mount. The advantage of this type of mount: unlike the azimuthal models, you compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies along just one axis instead of two. To do this, you align one axis parallel to the Earth's axis, which is called "alignment". This is easily done by pointing it approximately to Polaris. The beginner's telescope also comes with two flexible shafts with a fine adjustment, which simplify the movement of the axes. They make adjusting and tracking very precise and comfortable. Handy storage: On a plate between the tripod legs, you can store your accessories within easy reach.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable! The complete package for your sky observations – the accessories The extensive astronomy accessories including a safe solar filter enable you to immediately direct your gaze through the lens telescope to the sky – day and night. When observing at night, the LED viewfinder helps you find your way around: just install it parallel on the telescope, adjust it and use it to align and locate celestial objects. When you look through it, the red dot projected onto a ground-glass screen inside appears to hover in front of the sky. It shows you the spot to which the tube is pointing. This allows you to navigate easily before taking a closer look with the telescope's high magnification. Different perspectives of your astronomical discoveries are made possible by the two eyepieces, which enable different magnifications. With their sockets, which have a standard diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm), they are simply inserted into the telescope's focuser. You want to see even more details? Then triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x barlow lens. Always comfortable while observing the stars – for this purpose the 90-degree star diagonal mirror is included. That way you always enjoy a pleasant view into the telescope. Even if it is pointed upwards into the sky, you can comfortably look in from the side. Discover the beauty of our own star: Using the telescope in combination with the solar filter you can safely observe sunspots and granulation on the sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the sun without the solar filter! Have you always been fascinated by astrophotography? Then your smartphone camera and the smartphone adapter will get you started. This way you'll quickly enjoy your first own photos e. g. of the moon or the sun. FEATURES Beginner’s lens telescope with 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length Fraunhofer achromatic refractor Ideal for observing the sun, moon, planets and star clusters Height-adjustable tripod with equatorial EQ3 mount Precise adjustment through flexible shafts and fine adjustment in both axes Easy to use, very suitable for beginners and children Focal ratio F/11.3, thus very sharp image and high contrast 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) focuser Two eyepieces and a barlow lens with 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) sockets for different magnifications Safe solar observation with the included solar filter First steps in astrophotography with smartphone camera adapter SCOPE OF DELIVERY Beginner’s telescope Aluminium tripod Equatorial EQ3 mount Eyepieces: 4 mm und 20 mm (1.25 inch sockets) Barlow lens 3x (1.25 inch socket) Star diagonal mirror LED illuminated dot finder Solar filter Smartphone camera adapter Accessory tray Astronomy software download Instruction manual

BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ - Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Adapter & Solar Filter
Set up and start being amazed right away: the BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope takes you one step closer to the fascinating world of planets and star clusters. The complete astronomy set includes everything you need for your immediate start in celestial observation: an astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod and many accessories. The system is very easy to use – perfect for introducing children to the exciting hobby of astronomy. Simply an astronomical classic – the telescope A well-tried principle: this classic lens telescope – also called an achromatic refractor of the Fraunhofer type – shows beginners and children the beauties of the night sky. The starter telescope offers good imaging properties thanks to its modern, precisely coated optics. The large focal ratio of about 1 to 11.7 (F/11.7), which results from the ratio of the 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, delivers sharp images with good contrast. Ideal for exploring our Moon, the planets, but also open star clusters and globular clusters with your own eyes. But how big do these celestial objects appear? With its resolving power determined by the aperture size, the telescope easily delivers really sharp images up to about 120x magnification. Technically, even more is possible using this beginner’s telescope – theoretically up to 525x with the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the image usually becomes more and more blurred. In addition, the telescope is not the only factor determining the possible magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere is always an important criterion as well (seeing conditions). Your foundation for moving observations – mount and tripod Once you have found the right location for your astronomical adventures, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. The easy handling of this azimuthal mount allows you to move effortlessly from one astronomical sight to the next. Simply swing the starter telescope manually to the left and right, up and down – just like a normal photo tripod. In order to keep eyepieces, solar filters etc. within reach at all times, just place your accessories on the practical storage plate between the tripod legs. Everything for your astro quickstart – the accessories In order to enable you to see as much as possible, the beginner’s telescope comes with an extensive range of accessories. With the LED viewfinder, for example, you can keep track of the sky. It’s a direction finder that you mount parallel to the actual telescope. It projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. When you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating in front of the sky, exactly where the optics of your telescope are pointing. This makes it easier to find celestial objects and to align the telescope accurately – just before you look more closely with the higher magnification. And how high that is, you determine by choosing the appropriate eyepiece. Two are already included in the set: 4 mm and 20 mm. Moreover, you can triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow-lens. If at some point you want to extend your field of view with additional eyepieces, this poses no problem at all. The socket diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) corresponds to an international and manufacturer-independent standard. This offers you a wide choice of optional eyepieces you can use with your telescope. For you to direct your gaze comfortably to star clusters and planets, the 90-degree diagonal mirror allows you to easily look into the starter telescope. This way you don't have to lie down under the entry-level telescope when the optics are pointing at the sky. Instead, you just look in from the side. However, not only the night holds numerous interesting sights for us. During the day, especially our nearest star is worth a look. So take the solar-filter and direct your gaze safely at sunspots and granulation on the Sun. WARNING: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! If you want to capture and share your discoveries, just take photos of the Moon, Sun and more using the included smartphone adapter. FEATURES Beginner’s telescope for astronomy 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length Achromatic refractor type Fraunhofer Ideal for observing the Sun, Moon, planets and star clusters Height-adjustable tripod with azimuthal mount Easy to use, therefore suitable for children Focal ratio F=11.7, thus sharp image and high contrast Two eyepieces and one Barlow lens with 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) sockets for different magnifications Safe solar observation with the included solar-filter First steps in astrophotography with smartphone-camera-adapter SCOPE OF DELIVERY Starter lens telescope Aluminium tripod Azimuthal mount Eyepieces: 4 mm and 20 mm (1.25 inch sockets) Barlow-lens 3x (1.25 inch socket) Star diagonal mirror LED red dot finder Solar-filter Smartphone camera adapter Accessory tray Astronomy software for download Instruction manual

With the included smartphone camera adapter you can take pictures of your observations right through the telescope's eyepiece. Moon, planets, stars – the BRESSER Polaris-II 102/600 EQ3 lens telescope takes beginners a lot closer to the beauties of the universe. The complete set comes with everything you need to admire the night sky: the astronomical lens telescope with 102 mm aperture and 600 mm focal length, the equatorial mount, the tripod and a wide range of accessories for exciting astronomical observations. Explore the fascinating surface of the moon and marvel at the sight of the planets. But you can go even further than that, because the entry-level telescope also shows you star clusters and gas nebulae in the deep sky range. Operation is very easy – so you are off to a successful start in astronomy in no time. Getting started in astronomy with a classic – the telescope Effortless handling, impressive images: As an easy-to-use Fraunhofer-type achromatic refractor, this classic lens telescope is the perfect first telescope for beginners and children. Thanks to its modern, precisely coated optics, it offers good imaging properties as well. The 102 mm aperture already collects a lot of light from the celestial objects. In addition, 102 mm aperture and 600 mm focal length result in an average focal ratio (ratio of aperture to focal length) of about 1 to 6 (F/6). Because of this average focal ratio the beginner’s telescope is an all-rounder for all celestial objects. So observe interesting details on the moon and planets with high magnifications. Or choose a medium to low magnification and admire the sight of open star clusters such as the Pleiades, globular clusters like M13 or gas nebulae like the Orion Nebula M42. Speaking of magnifications: How big will the celestial objects appear through this telescope for beginners? The aperture of 102 mm achieves a resolving power that easily allows magnifications of up to about 200x with sharp images. Technically, the telescope can do more. However, with increasing magnification, the images can become blurred. And the telescope is not the only factor determining the possible degree of magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also plays a major role. Solid base for your celestial exploration – mount and tripod Found the perfect observation site? Then set up the telescope on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with equatorial mount. The advantage of equatorial mounts: Unlike with an azimuthal mount, you don’t have to move both axes at the same time. Instead, one axis is simply aligned parallel to the Earth's axis at the beginning. In this so-called alignment, you point the axis in the direction of the polar star. After that, you can track the celestial bodies just on this one axis. Another benefit of this mount: you move the axes via two flexible shafts with fine adjustment. Perfect for delicate as well as comfortable adjustment and tracking of the entry-level telescope. To ensure that your accessories are always within reach during fascinating discoveries, there is an extra storage plate between the tripod legs.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable! Everything for your first steps in stargazing – the accessories The astronomy set contains lots of accessories so that you can immediately set off on your discovery tour of the night sky. Use the LED finder to precisely align your beginner's telescope and thus find celestial objects more easily. You just have to install the direction finder in parallel on your telescope. It projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen that appears to be floating in front of the sky when you look through. Since the aperture of your telescope points in the exact same direction, this helps you to keep track of the night sky. Two eyepieces (K-20mm, K-4mm) are included so that you can admire celestial bodies in two different magnifications. Still not enough for you? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow lens. And should you ever wish to change perspective during your astronomical observations, the standard tube diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) gives you a wide choice of additionally available eyepieces. The 90-degree star diagonal mirror, on the other hand, provides more convenience and a comfortable view. Even if your entry-level telescope is pointed vertically upwards, you can simply look in from the side. Discover the wonderful world of astronomy with the BRESSER Polaris-II 102/600 EQ3 lens telescope.
