By means of a handy mechanism the upper part of the lightstand can be converted into a boom arm. Already included in delivery comes also a cordura sandbag, which can be filled with sand or other materials and attached to the boom stand to serve as a counterweight.
In order to reduce unwanted reflections the aluminium is coated with a black powder layer.
