A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MicroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector, or smartboard. Alternatively, a small monitor from BRESSER can also be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).The HDMI connection is easy to make, and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved, and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation, for example, in quality control or production, needs to be digitized.To control the camera, the included USB mouse is connected. The screen delivers brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MicroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual while simultaneously viewing the image on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a wide viewing angle of 178°! This allows multiple people to view the image without loss of quality.The image from the microscope camera is always displayed on the HDMI screen without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. Therefore, the representation via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out.Many users also benefit from improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture can be uncomfortable for eye problems such as floaters.
