The light distribution of a halogen lamp is also different to an LED lamp, and measurements indicate that these guideline values are generally too high.To avoid disappointment, we use slightly lower reference values and compare a 1 W LED with a 16 W halogen lamp. This 36 W LED lamp is therefore roughly equivalent to a 576 W halogen lamp.One significant advantage of LED lights is that they do not heat up and therefore can be used risk-free over a prolonged period.
