This Feather-Touch focuser allows very fine and precise focusing. The Feather-Touch focuser provides a M35x0.5 thread on the telescope-side, therefore it can be used directly at all telescopes that have a M35x0.5 thread. At the eyepiece-side there is a T2 thread and a 1.25" connection.
For example this Feather-Touch focuser can be used at all Lunt Solar Systems LS40THa and LS50THa telescopes. Please note that this Feather-Touch focuser allows very precise focusing at this telescopes, but it will not provide more back-focus than the standard helical-focuser.

A very compact, complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light.The LS50THa solar telescope offers 50 mm free aperture, 350 mm focal length, and provides a bandwidth of <0.75 Angstrom. The telescope is fitted as standard with the air-pressure tuning system "Pressure-Tuner", the Etalon is safely installed inside the telescope. Prominences and surface detail can quickly be viewed spontaneously. This very portable system is an ideal travel companion for wherever you go.A B400 blocking filter is installed inside the star diagonal. The B400 is good for visual observing. Focusing is achieved by a non-roting Helical focuser.Please note that there is only a small back-focus at this telescope, therefore solar-imaging is very difficult. The LS50THa is designed for visual solar observing. We recommend for imaging the 60mm telescopes of the LS60MT series.Also double-stacking with a bandwidth of only <0.5 Angstrom is possible by using the additional available LS50C filter (0550210). This filter threads directly onto the LS50THa telescope.
