Pulsars new Heavy Duty security clamps are ideal for automated and remote observatory domes. Made from high quality stainless steel, they remain permanently engaged whilst still allowing free rotation of the dome top. We advise the use of these clamps for not only remote use, but also public observatories and schools.
They can easily be fitted to exisiting pulsar domes too !

The PULSAR Pulley Accessory Kit is designed to aid the opening and closing of the dome shutter, and to minimise the risk of the shutter slipping and causing damage. Allows the shutter to be part opened to any position if required. Easy to fit, the kit comes complete with pulley wheel, nuts, bolts and washers, together with 4 metres of Nylon rope. It can be fitted whilst your dome is being installed or retro-fitted afterwards. The pulley fits to the flange at the top of your dome aperture, through the existing bolt hole, and the Nylon cord fits to the front and rear of the sliding shutter. Supplied with detailed fitting instructionsIMPORTANT NOTE: This set is already included in the current PULSAR domes and does not have to be ordered separately. Older Pulsar domes can be retrofitted at any time.

The Pulsar multi pier adapter plate is a universal solution for mounting your equatorial mount on the PULSAR telescope pier (part.No.4900660). This adapter plate has different contours on the top and bottom which are suitable for most commercially available telescope mounts. Depending on the type of mount, it can be easily reversed and the pier is ready for use with another mount. You stay flexible and don't have to work with different adapters when upgrading or changing your telescope mount. The adapter plates we offer are made of solid aluminium material and use, among other openings, the standard hole circle diameter of 130mm with 6pcs through holes of 8.0mm and countersinks for M8 cylinder head screws with hexagon socket. The outer diameter of the adapter plate is 163mm and the overall height is 50mm. Motorize your dome shutter - with Bluetooth connection to the rotational drive, and is a vital step towards complete full remote operation of your observatory. Designed to use with PULSAR 2.7 metre dome or 2.2 metre dome. The PULSAR shutter drive is powererd by a pre-installed lithium battery. The battery is recharged by the supplied new PULSAR Induction Charger or by using a power tank battery charger. The charging and battery details are readily accessible through the rotation drive control box so you can monitor the status of your shutter battery. The PULSAR Dome Drive is the latest development in automating your observatory. Designed for use with the Pulsar 2.7 metre dome or 2.2 metre dome, you can control your observatory from the LCD display panel or from the supplied software on your PC.
